All girl "Blood Divas" gang in PTC schools were "beating in" new members
Peachtree City Police Wednesday afternoon announced the arrest of eight female students from J.C. Booth Middle School and one female student from McIntosh High School on felony charges on gang-related offenses. The gang referred to themselves as the “Blood Divas.” The investigation by Peachtree City Police began after reports of gang activity surfaced Sunday.
The arrests of the eight female students from Booth and the one female student from McIntosh High School, all ages 13-15, on gang-related offenses were the culmination of an investigation by the Peachtree City Police Department concerning a series of complaints made by other students and school officials, said department spokesperson Rosanna Dove. The complaints included reports of harassment, threats, bullying and weapons-related offenses, Dove said.
The gang activity by the girls, at least in part, included the use of the colors pink and black, Dove said, adding that the girls were “beating in” new members. Dove said the juveniles were using the name “Blood Divas” to identify themselves.
The weapons charges, said Dove, pertained to a bludgeon-type object rather than firearms or edged weapons. Commenting on the bludgeon-type object, Fayette County School System spokesperson Melinda Berry-Dreisbach in question was a “two-finger ring,” adding that the school system does not consider the ring to be a weapon.
Dove said the offenders, all juveniles, were charged with the following offenses:
Juvenile #1, age 14, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity and felony terroristic threats.
Juvenile #2, age 14, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity, carrying weapons on school property (felony), terroristic threats (felony) and misdemeanor simple battery.
Juvenile #3, age 15, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity, and felony terroristic threats.
Juvenile #4, age 13, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity, terroristic threats (felony) and misdemeanor simple battery.
Juvenile #5, age 13, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity, terroristic threats (felony) and misdemeanor simple battery.
Juvenile #6, age 15, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity, terroristic threats (felony) and misdemeanor simple battery.
Juvenile #7, age 13, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity.
Juvenile #8, age 14, was charged with felony terroristic threats.
Juvenile #9, age 13, was charged with felony criminal street gang activity and felony terroristic threats.
Dove said police began receiving information about the gang activity on Sunday. Investigators amassed additional information into Tuesday, said Dove, adding that the arrests were made Wednesday morning.
Dove said all the girls live in Peachtree City and all were released to the custody of their parents subsequent to their arrests.
Berry-Dreisbach said the school system became aware of potential gang-related issues when Booth Assistant Principal Jennifer Couch was told by students that they had been told that other children had been threatened and that a group of girls were wearing the same colors. Couch was also told that a gang might be forming, Berry-Dreisbach said.
Berry-Dreisbach said that, according to school system policy and depending on the infraction,, the girls might face short-term suspension, long-term suspension, transfer or expulsion.

We need to inculcate these amaurotic sanguine fluids with a cognizance of what it means to unequivocally BE APPRISED OF, only then will they be proportionately urbane. We must smoke out what prevails upon them to UNDULATE, then unleash a preemptive strike, so to speak. We must hanker to infringe upon the very fabric of their vitality and utterly defenestrate their hankering to actualize in space time. All silhouettes of comeuppance are on the lectern, be they debasement or defilement!
Sounds like the General in the movie, with Peter Sellers, about the end by hydrogen bombs.
He thought the Russians were trying to inculcate our precious bodily fluids and ruin our democracy!
How dare they embarrass this fine city of angels.

"You can't fight in the war room!"
I know I've made many comments on here about how parents are the main people that should be paying attention to these children. However, I should say that I know that many of these girls live in an apartment community that is more concerned with getting bonuses for having the apartments filled rather than having them filled with the right kind of people. One of these families was supposed to be kicked out of the complex in October because of the children's behavior and the other children hanging around that particular apartment. Somehow, they are still there even though they aren't even US citizens or fully employed parents. This is the same complex that had the meth lab bust recently. So, what standards is the community as a whole setting for its residents?
A co-worker of mine told me her grandmother lived in Gables Court and was moving because it was going downhill and seemed to be having more problematic residents. Meth lab and gangs...........yeah, I'd move too! Why in the world did Peachtree City EVER build apartments???
So proud these girls must feel........no sympathy for them.
Could it be this group of girls gravitated towards one another because of personal pain they’re experiencing in their lives? Could it be that family unemployment, illness or personal tragedy is the “beat in” to be in the click/club/group or gang? Could it be that they are not a member of the group consulted by school adminstration, thus their story is unheard? Could it be that we have conflict between those that are the “in” click at school and those that are not? Could it be we have another click running the halls with disrespect and this click is tired of putting up with being knocked down, bullied and pushed around? Could it be we have a click of girls who have it all going for them vs. a click of girls who have little going right in their lives? Has retaliation surfaced against those that started it to begin with? What is the rest of the story? Could it be?
Those pointing fingers need to take a look in the mirror to see where the index finger is really pointing then look at your hand at the other 3 pointing your way too. The complete story is somewhere in the middle here. EVERYONE associated with this mess needs to take a look inside their box and ask themselves; could it be?
Where is the leadership that should be teaching these “kid clicks” to get along, communicate properly and be productive in our community instead of teaching lessons of handcuffs and courtrooms? If Peachtree City is going down the tubes it will be due to lack of proper leadership and supervision for the kids.
3 simple parental recommendations:
1) Unplug Facebook for any child that is not of college age. It was designed for college age kids, not teenagers. It’s a terrible forum for our youth to learn to communincate in.
2) Call your phone company and turn off the use of text messaging for any kid under the age of 18. As seen in this blog, texting is a terrible tool to learn to communicate with and it makes it to difficult to "parent" when you can't hear what is being said. Voice communication is much more effective for everyone, especially the user.
3) Attend school Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meetings every month. And if you are unemployed, it’s a great place to network and communicate with others. Get involved and bring the kids. Know your teachers, school administration and what is going on in your school before it escalates to what we have today with this mess. PTCPD and community should attend too. Please get together to communicate with one another in a face-to-face forum, especially one that is all about your children.
Spending A LOT of your "time" with your 13-15 year old kids is the best investment you can make. These are very difficult and impressionable years. Very soon it will be too late. They are worth your attention and they’re obviously begging for it!
I could not agree with you more!! Very well said!
I know many of these girls, and their stories have not been heard! I know why they've done all of this, and i hate the fact that everyone is judging them, saying they need to be locked up and run over. People need to think a little!
There is not a lot to argue about with your comments about the things one can do with their kids while they grow.
Problem is, these things do not apply universally!
There are parents who have no understanding of the things you mention, such as "unplug face-book," and "attend....PTA meetings," with the kids.
So, they are to understand face-book, and have the clothes to wear to a PTA meeting---with 4-5 kids who are miserable? They can also discuss welfare or low wages while there! Baby-Daddy will baby-sit the babies, I suppose.
Then there is a group who work at night and can't attend. Grandma can't handle them either at home, or in a meeting.
Then the red-neks come into play. The most important thing for them is that their kids can kill a deer at 10, know how to read and write some, attend NASCAR races, and know so little they can not help with home-work, even if they wanted to. That is the school's problem.
When several generations are lost when the incentive is not there to better one's self, it shows for generations more in the kids!
Your simple ideas to improve these kids is much more complicated and expensive.
I think you mean "cliques," not "clicks."
your genes are showing.
Nothing like sterotyping to drive home a point I guess.
The point, I suppose, is that you don't have to be a good person to have a kid, and this is true. However, there have been many instances where kids have grown up in disfunctional families and have gone on to great things. The odds are against it but it can and does happen.
So, what's the difference in these kids? Now there is a question we have been trying to answer for decades and decades. Usually, I think it is that some adult shows an interest and puts in effort, but not always. The vast majority of kids that go bad have no support group or person.
So, if you want to make a difference in a child's life, volunteer. It's only as complicated as you want to make it.
Ok so you pull the plug on your kid doing facebook and texting. In this age that is severe punishment because you are afraid of change or you as a parent dont understand life today. Your child will hate you for the time being, your child will be cut out of society in school. Your child will have no friends unless their is a nerd somewhere who doesnt text or facebook. So your child will be left out in the cold with no friends. I suggest you as a good parent teach the child right from wrong, monitor their facebook like other good parents do. You can be a parent and a friend of your child. Parenting first of course before the friend part. Stay involved in everything that is happening at school and talk to your child every day about whats going on in their life. A child now days without texting, or a phone or a facebook is pretty much a loner. Not good. Just because a parent is from an older generation doesnt mean we cant understand modern times.
I am a pretty old person, but when I was coming up here was the type of punishment I endured:
1. Can't go out a play with my friends.
2. Can't use the phone
3. When I was a bit older, Can't use the car.
4. Clean up the yard.
5. Wash the car, I couldn't drive.
6. No TV
7. Stay in my room and think about it.
8. If I did something that bordered on dishonesty, well I "got it" with the peach limb. That I would have cut and bring to my father to use, if it wasn't big enough, had to go back and get one he liked. Stole a neighbors plums one summer and I won't ever forget that lesson.
Each of these punishments left me out in the cold and I had no friends, until I went to school the next day but I remembered I didn't like the punishment, it changed my behavior. You know what, I was never friends with my parents, but I respected them. They backed me when necessary but it was because I knew I could never lie to them. It wouldn't have been right and I respected them too much. They took me places, spent quality time with me and my brothers, and I generally liked them most of the time. I was never their friend, I was their child and I loved and respected them so much.
Pretty much the same thing now, my kids are not my friends, they are my kids and I hope they respect me. I don't want them to be my friends.
Results of this philosophy, Eagle Scout, Leadership positions in every club they ever joined, honor students from grade school through college, no arrests, no tickets, no drugs, no problems. Generally they are happy kids that enjoy their life, their family and they respect the rule of law. They would rather come home than do just about anything else. It can't get much better than this.
Don't be friends with your kids.
Kids are like banks, you get out more than you put into them, but you have to put something in regularly.
OMG, you were punished? Privileges were revoked? No way!! The key word here is PRIVILEGE!! It is a privilege to have a cell phone, it's a privilege to use the computer, it's a privilege to allowed to go and do. It is not a right and I feel this generation of children have come to think they are entitled!! Especially here in PTC!!
I was raised in a similar manner, and I am just fine with it. The other problem as I see it is we tend to live in isolation mode and ONLY look after our own children even when we see another child in need or danger!! Stop being afraid of CHILDREN!! My mantra has become "Elders, take back our village!!""
Couldn't agree more and your post is definitely one of the best I have ever seen here.
Excellent points for parents and I really like your last paragraph.
Total waste and a reflection of parental failure.
Leadership in school should be focused on teaching children, we as parents should not abdicate our responsibility of sending our children to school well instructed in the skill of civility.
I teach in the Fayette County schools and I realize that if you don't deal with 13-14 year old thugs now, they become 19-20 year old thugs.
are obviously a piece of the problem. Calling 13-14 year old girls "thugs" in a open community forum is very poor taste and a awful reflection on the many good educators in this community.
Instead, why don't you spend some time helping to identify the root cause and then effectively communicate it face-to-face where it's needed.
I bet you wouldn't call then thugs to their parents face, now would you...
You probably write nice things on their report cards or nothing at all. Just take the money and run.
IMO, you should be sought out and fired immediately for your cowardness, unprofessionalism and the half baked ways you think and perform as a educator. You have failed miserably in your realization.
Why are you continually blaming the systems? What about blaming the parents for not being involved with these little girls? I'm so sick and tired of reading here how President Obama or Governor-Elect Deal or the PTCPD should be doing something. What about the parents? I've seen these parents first hand. They allow these girls to do whatever they want, whenever they want at whatever time of day or night. Teachers can't be there all the time, and they are only there for the year that they have the students in their class. No, I'm not an educator. I'm not a politician. I am a concerned parent that has a child that shows some problems and I've had no issues with calling the police or having him put away where he may better be taught what can happen to him if he doesn't conform to societies demands. For my son it may be different because he has mental disabilities but these girls don't have that excuse. The parents don't pay attention to their kids and hardly speak english. Parents need to step up and deal with their children while they are young and show them the proper direction.
If you do not know the parents do not speak about them. would you go up to them and say this?
Im sure these girls are very nice and did what they did for a reason. Of course, im not saying what they did is okay, but I'm sure their story has not been heard. Please, you would not want anyone judging you, so do not judge them.
Especially their parents! and if they don't know English or if they don't have jobs, I'm sure they try their best to do everything right for their children. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone judging you for locking your own disabled son!
I know the parents and the girls. You obviously know who I am and it is obviously you that doesn't know the whole story since it seems that you left out a word. I, on the other hand, know what you intended to say. You truly don't know me or my sons disability. If one of these girls is yours, then try keeping them under control. Maybe if you called the police on them when they got out of control like I do on my child, they would learn how to behave by the time they are teenagers. It seems to have worked with mine!
You obviously "get it" and it's a shame that more would rather either A) blame any and everyone else or B) want to throw these teens in jail forever or lynch them, then burn them, and maybe then run them over and back their car over the remains. Good grief.
Quick to castigate--where in that post do you see the word "girls"? Why not take the words at face value and try not to insert your own spin?
These girls are nothing but a bunch of worthless thugs that need to be put in joovie for a very, very long time.
how long do you run the same story on the front page.
what, do you only work every other day. lots of people needing jobs.
new web site employee please!
Peachtree City is the way it is today because of the police department doing their jobs, and doing them well. Everyone always blames the police for being to harsh. Well that is why we have such a wonderful crime free (for the most) city. I say if you don’t like your children being arrested for crimes that you think should be a slap on the wrist then move. Fulton County schools would teach them that they are not so tough, and then you would be begging for the school system and police to do something. Stop all your crying on here and raise your kids correctly.
I don't things change all that much. When I went to Booth in the 80's there were some equally bad girls in the school. They may have not been called a gang but they were definately a group of bullies. The school took it pretty seriously back then but no charges were pressed and the girls weren't arested even though they probably should have been arrested. It usually starts with problems at home and those kind of people just gravitate towards each other.
Just wondering why 13, 14, and 15-year-old girls are arrested and treated as felons when they engage in gang business and threats, but when an almost 16-year-old agrees to consensual sex with a 21-year-old, maybe even lying about her age and acting as the pursuer, she is automatically a "child" not old enough to make that decision. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old guy if incarcerated and then placed on a public registry as a dangerous threat to "children." His life is, for all intents and purposes, over at age 21: no prospect of decent employment, housing, education, etc., and living in fear of crazies who will harass and even harm when they see his name on the list, because they are certain he is a "pedophile."
Justice? I don't think so.
Perhaps that might be a little harsh but judging by the comments in here I feel most would enjoy seeing some middle school girls bar-b-qued.
and perhaps you should not be such a pyscho saying things about barbequeing little children. grow up!!
I'm just having a little fun. I think it's ridiculous that people are getting so pissed off about this. It's quite humorous to read all these responses. I was just adding a little sarcasm to this hate blog.
These girls need to be treated like the felons they are. Suspending them from school will only help them to have more time on their hands. How about an empty building in Fayette County with police officers to guard them all day while they do their school work. They should be fitted with ankle moniters so when they go home in the evening the police will know their every move. If they do not pass all of their classes they repeat them until they get passing grades. These girls need to be taught lesson now or they will pay later and the rest of us will too!
would you do that to your own children if they brought a 2 finger ring to school? its not a weapon!! its a cute accessory!! police are overreacting because this is innocent ptc! nothing ever happens! they want action! so if some 13 yr old girls make a club thats actually called "blahdivas", then okay! if 1 girl wants to wear a ring, then okay! if a clique of girls wants to wear their 2 fav colors, then okay! but you know some people are racist and suspicious when colored people and mexicans do anything so sure "pomsmom". of course your right! lets just get all hyped up about it and throw 9 amazing girls in empty building til they pass allllll their classes! and your right again mrs pomsmom! lets waste time and money and peoples lives on getting a bunch of police officers to stand right beside them watching their every move! thats the way to do it! let em grow up!! they know whats right and wrong! let them figure it out! and in the 1st place do you even know why they took a "2 finger ring" (still an accessory) in the 1st place? yeah. ya dont. so instead of sitting around all day making up idiotic punishments for children that arent yours, go do something thats worth your time!
If you're not paying attention to your children and they are out of control, then they should be put behind bars for doing things like this. Why should the rest of society be put through the hell because you don't care enough to lay down the law with them? If they are such 9 amazing girls, as you so eloquently stated, how did they end up this way? Yeah, it is a waste of taxpayers time and money to watch these useless little girls, but it wouldn't be if you parents would step up and stop making excuses for their "accessories" and realize that they were using them as weapons! For actual AMAZING girls, these would be accessories, but these girls are run wild, all night long like their little sisters and cousins without parental guidance. Don't have kids if you don't want to parent!! These girls walk around town smoking and acting like they run the world already, getting on Facebook meeting boys old enough to be put in jail for being with them. Are you watching that? No? Then don't talk when people say your "amazing girls" need to be watched by police 24/7 to get their acts straight. Maybe if that happens now until they are 21, they might have a chance to redeem themselves at a better future. No thanks to parents like you.
uhhhh im not a parent!! i am 14 yrs old and i go to jc booth!! i know their parents though and they are probably better parents then youll ever be. obviously their not rich or wealthy and their families are filled with love and happpiness. and if you have a girl you probably have heard of a jewelry store for kids called claires? yeah thats where they got the ring. they werent using it to beat up other girls. i would know. you see them as low lives in middle school, failures, bad kids, "bullies". but theyre not. they are beautiful nice girls that just have some issues that time will heal. and people talk about justin bieber being gay and lady gaga being a dude but its not true!! so why believe people if they say that these girls should be barbequed and put in jail? and these girls dont run wild. they dont date people WAY older than them. maybe like 2 yrs but thats it. so if i were you, i would stop throwing little girls in jail. and do me a favor, go look at one of these girls in the eye and say that they would kill someone.
It may be a big misunderstanding. How do you think this misunderstanding took place? Do you think their actions had anything to do with it?
You know this is the way the world works, if you act a certain way you can expect others to react to it. If you act in a bad way the world will react poorly to you, if you act in a positive way the world will reward you. It's all up to you.
That's why it's important to do all you can do to do well in school and make your parents proud of you.
When and if these girls come back to school, maybe they will think their actions were misplaced and focus on school too. Let's hope so and I think they will appreciate your help too.
Be careful, that idea would cost tax payers a lot of money. Parents, Parents, do they have any that are worth a crap. I know for a fact that more than one of these girls were posting on facebook withing hours of being arrested. That means they were at home mouthing off online. Parents parents where are they. Its simple to me, the parents have contributed to this behavior. Stupid people should not be allowed to breed.
Way to go Dove:
"I would assume 13 or 14-year-olds would be playing with Barbies, not initiating one another into gangs and beating each other up."
I'm pretty sure my 14 year old daughter has long since outgrown Barbie
The PTC gun and knife show at Kedron Rec Center will be a way to educate our teens about weapons they may choose to use against each other.
Perhaps a "Gun Day" for the students is in order, where all the students can be educated by our police force on how to use these weapons in a safe and fun manner. I'm just concerned that the general populace of students would not attend the gun and knife show.
there seems to be a lot of "gang bangers" in inner cities that seem to do just fine without gun shows.
I am pretty concerned because I feel like this is the time to be coming together to figure this out. We are all aware that PTCPD has identified these students and now we need to rid our town of this problem. I am so confused as to why all these other factors are being discussed. What does Presidency have to do with what is happening in our town? Are we going to pretend that these girls just moved here when our president packed them up and dropped them off in PTC? I don't think so. I think he has bigger fish to fry. It seems like just an excuse to blame someone. Why don't we deal with the situation at hand. It concerns me because it seems like all of these bottled up feelings are surfacing over this. Is this about taking down a group of girls that are trying to take over our town and make our children feel unsafe at school or is it about rental properties and health care? I think as adults we should know that it is sad to assume that everyone that rents a home is a bad person or lacks parenting skills. I agree that things have clearly gotten out of hand but blaming innocent people does not put us on the road to recovery.
I voted for Obama, but to be fair, its been a day and he hasn't commented on this yet.
SNOBS! And the really bad thing is......they believe it!
These "gangs" or clubs based on violence originate with one kid who has leadership skills and is usually pretty smart (maybe not book smart but smart). School bores them because they are tough to engage using traditional methods and their learning style is usually kinesthetic so public schools are just a big, boring playground of minds to play with and manipulate. Creating a gang, with all of its rituals and "inside information" becomes both entertainment and a way to exercise power because they have no other place to utilize their unique skill set. Parents miss all of this because they disengage once the child is old enough to basically take care of themselves and public school teachers lack the flexibility and core competencies to develop curriculum that keeps the outliers plugged in. So blame the parents for being lured by the power of denial and blame the public schools for taking a factory approach to education. Oh and somebody needs to kick the PTC cops involved in the "investigation" in the backside for their galactically idiotic handling of this. Brain dead rednecks with guns.
Human experience is more vaired and complex than your cookie cutter explanations suggest.
GreatSpaceMan, you are ridiculous. It's the parents that are to blame. As a grown man, you should not be terrified of some 14 year old girls in PEACHTREE CITY. On the other hand, I do agree that Coach Key was and still is the man. LONG LIVE COACH KEY!!!! The dude abides.
What has Obama got to with these delinquents? Peachtree City has been changing for years now. What this town was twenty, even ten years ago is long gone and never to return. Through greed and growth the officials of our fair city have “sold us out”. Far too many apartments have been built that allow outsiders to rent rather than buy so as to attend our once excellent school system. Then add to that section 8 housing and there you go. Sub educated parents can do no better than to hatch out sub educated children. If you are sitting there thinking, wow, what a racist, or even maybe a dreaded profiler!! Fool yourself all you want. We keep adding more and more officers to our police force to keep the rising criminal types in check and to give us that feeling of safety. In ten years Peachtree City will be just like Fayetteville. Not too friendly of a place after dark…is it? Do you let your kids go to the movie theatre there any more? Nope. How about shopping. Heck, there is crime galore happening there during the daylight hours much less after dark. Do I have the answer? Yep, I’m going to give it 5 more years here then I’m out. You WILL NOT stop the onslaught. They are too well rooted and remember, we made it feasible for them to fester and grow. Oh, and by the way, I don’t like Obama either, but we let that just happen too by simply sitting on our hands. Just like we’ve done here in our fair city. Now here we all sit wondering, damn, now how did that happen?
I am sitting with my mouth hanging open at your post!! I haven't heard such elitist crap in years!! You really think the apartment dwellers are the ruin of PTC? Seriously?!! How you manage to drag in Obama to your madness is even more astounding!!
Ignore him, he gives car dealers a bad name.
We make our community, no one else.
Cardealer is among the same people that complain about our police department.
They're confused people.
I agree with every word you said.
Boy is that word "diva" overused these days! Awesome, well, I mean--you know? A girl sell a million records and she is a "diva!"
The only more than one-finger ring I know of is the four-finger ring called "brass knuckles." (there is some costume jewelry with 2-fingers).
Now that could be called a bludgeon--it breaks bones! I have never seen a pair of them though that would fit a 13-14 year old female.
Lots of people in West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Alabama used to have a set of brass knucks they carried.
Real good close-in weapon.
I am sure that hundreds of parents in PTC right now are trying their best to see what the heritage is of the "divas." Apparently, they are not all, anyway, from Fulton or Clayton! Or the projects.
there was a very obscene user on here late last night that was removed. Fishers Bank was the location of 2 of these females, if that information was to be believed.
Peolpe on this blog have all the solutions. Lets blame, blame, blame without knowing all the facts. You all make me ill!
Inform us! Thanks!
One cannot assume the charged juveniles live in homes where there are poor parenting skills.
So true. There may be some very shocked and disappointed parents in PTC this morning. . .who did all the 'right' things. This is a wake-up call for many - and frightening if these are 'good' kids gone 'bad'.
there may also be a bunch of parents that gained access to the US by asylum from other countries that were at war with their own and now their children are at war with our own. i know this because i know many of the children involved.
34 years ago I moved (ran) from College Park to make a better life here in Fayette County, now all I hear is talk from people about moving further away!
We all have a choice here people, we can tuck tail and run again or we can make a stand and stop all of this! I'm not talking about running to the police and crying.........I'M TALKING ABOUT US (AS A COUNTY) DRAWING A LINE AND SAYING "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"!
What's it going to be? Put up or shut up!
Let's not lose our fine community to a bunch of worthless thugs that have nothing better to do than prey upon the innocent.
All Fayette county citizens should arm themselves to combat the onslaught of these punks.
13-15 year old girls, and you refer to them as worthless thugs. Are you actually in fear of 13 year old girls to the point of arming yourself.
Get a life!
Ol' Fred is one of those super tough keyboard cowboys who from behind his computer will call anyone anything.
Sadly, he is not alone.
You were missed the other night. Perhaps we can make it another time.
How many guns should I buy to protect my family from the threat of 13-14 year old girls?
As many as you think you need.
I personally am not interested in taking a stand against 13-14 year old girls. A few score years ago I really liked them, but nowadays they are way ahead of me. (were then).
Might I suggest that you try and round up some of these younger combat vets in PTC, have them clean their guns well, (put them back into the closet) and show up at a baseball field here in town and then mount some of the private horses around here in their stables, then Tennessee Walk the horses around Booth until all of the 13-15 year olds females surrender.
Have you checked with Chief "Skip" bout all this? (I think that is his name).
Rosana Dana, Dana, Rosana Dana Dove (Major), might volunteer to be the Detective on this case for you.
Let's just do this Mr.(?) Courthouserules and Mr.(?) Superman King, you two keep writing funny cool stuff to show all of us how super stupid you are and we'll just sit back and AHHHHHH over it!
Ya'll the man!
Both of you would wet in your pants if you had to do anything other than write funny stuff behind make beleive names! But then again, most 2 inchers are like that :)
So are you telling us that your real name is "highflyer"? And I happen to know Mike King and your assessment is dangerously wrong. Can't really comment about the other dude.
Mr Highflyer, I don't hide behind a made up name, and I doubt seriously you are serious about soiling one's pants. But if you'd like to meet, I'll grant you the opportunity.
all the smart a_ _ comments? I was talking about the county as it is. I SURELY wasn't talking about some punk kids.
This always happens, there is a story and everyone has to start looking cool by putting in stupid comments! Why?
Reading some of these blogs makes me wonder if this county is even worth saving.
I know you weren't talking about some kids, you referenced your comments at me.
"This always happens, there is a story and everyone has to start looking cool by putting in stupid comments!" Your words now, could it be that you include yourself in this characterization?
Sure this town, county, state and country are worth saving; it's just that each of us have our own priorities on where to start.
I would ask that you take everything a little less seriously, and you might just see that this will also pass.
You bury YOUR son and every Christmas know that you have to make that trip to put a Christmas tree on his grave because of drugs and you would know JUST HOW DAMN SERIOUS I AM.
How can a person be afraid of death when they have looked it straight in the face? Oh it will pass....more kids will die and more people will write cute comments about it and the sun will still shine.
Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas to you too.
I hope you find some peace in your heart during this time of year.
You're not alone....

Hey Big Guy, the invitation remains open. I am sorry about your son, but what does that have to do with 13-15 year old girls?
Now that we know you didn't make a stand in College Park, is it because the nine "gang members" are female that you're willing to make that 'stand'?
Perhaps you and JohnnyBGood can patrol the halls of Booth after taking some security training from Bonker$. I'm sure the police and school administrators would welcome your expertise.
I left College park because it was the "easy" thing to do and thanks but no thanks for the offer of patroling ANY school. I'm not concerned about the kids, I was thinking more of the adults.
I'm a bit older now Mr. King and things don't seem to worry me like they use to, one of these things is standing up for what I think is right no matter WHAT the consequences are. Tell you what though, I'm going to take your silly little comment about the "female gang members" as a joke. If it wasn't intended as such, please tell me what your problem is?
People like you make me sick!

Why would Booth need anyone other than who they have to patrol the halls? They sound like they are doing a pretty good job to me despite the objections of enabling tripe like you.
Besides, if Highflyer and I clean up the dribble what would you have to gripe about whenever the PTC Police step in and do their job and arrest the little scumbags? Just bail your daughter out and teach her the proper way to function in society.
As for making a stand, I can't speak for Highflyer but I can speak for myself. I make a stand everyday. As I said, I don't live in your little (rapidly deflating) bubble.
people here stick their head in the sand. Years ago, others moved south..wish I had...the fact that the schools in Cowetta are holding their own tells the story. It is the people that moved there and their values, nothing else.
10 years ago, a gang group in these schools would have been unthinkable. Look at this now, it seems that a private person made the complaint.
I lived in Stone Mountain once, it had parks, golf cart paths, etc., everything..it was scary how quick it changed and how bad..want to say it won't? Ok...want to live in Stone Mountain?...nope..didn't think you did...
The idea is not to mover further south...the idea is to move...a.w.a.y.... get it?
As long as you live here..every few years...you will have to move...believe it or not...that is not normal in most places.
you probably don't get that either!
The posting below is brought to you by ‘Navygirl’ and she demonstrates why minors should have limited internet access.
ok so u really need to myob cuz 1 u dont know them and need to keep ur comments to urself especially cuz they r still minors 2 u dont know anything about them so stop talkin bout it u know nothing about it and 3 it dont matter where they live y do u need to know ugh all ppl do is gossip bout crap they dont know
I guess you must be one of the girls based on the writing. I know the girls and they are nothing but punks. When I was their age I would have wiped the sidewalk with them. But they are pot smokers and the parents pay no attention to them walking around all hours of the nights. If little girls act like this and get themselves put in the public eye, they make themselves subject to the scrutiny that comes with it. They should have thought about the after effects of their actions. Period!
What you wrote is gibberish. You're obviously a child (or a complete fool). If you want to be taken seriously put your cell phone down and pay attention in class.
While it might be cool for Paris Hilton 2 wrte lke ths cuz shez a snotty brt, no one has ever made mention of her intelligence. Ever.
Some advice for your future. Learn to make sense. Write in sentences and use punctuation. It doesn't have to be perfect, but If you can't write worth a damn you're not worth a damn to anyone.
I really hope you are not a member of the Navy. And I really hope you can speak proper english and this post you put up is a joke.
Without divulging names or addresses, what do you know about this activity? Are there victims involved? Are there other groups that are engaged in the suspected/alleged activity? Is there any chance that this is being blown out of proportion to the reality of the situation? Please inform us.
Anyone know where they live in PTC?
They live near the High School that they are accused of terroristic threats! In an apartment community there that seems to have a lot of problems lately. Hear about the meth lab bust? Same community.
Fine school, good teachers and as you have shown us all - some really mature students willing to learn. Just think in another 20 years or so, your generation will be running the country - making all the decisions and paying all the taxes. Makes me proud.
Barney was right. Though the felony charges my seem excessive and, I'm guessing, may get reduced, these girls need to know their behavior is unacceptable. I hope the parents figure out a way to get their girls on the right track and that the school gives them another chance. It seems like once kids get in alternative school they're just surrounded by bigger and better criminals.
I totally agree with PTC Observer's and SMHS Parent's comments. Get the kids to look up from their computer and their cell phone. Limit their time with TV, video games, phones. Spend time with them. Take an interest in their lives. Get to know their friends and their friends' parents. Dole out meaningful punishment when needed.
I hope the parents of these kids see this as an opportunity to change their daughters' lives. I hope their neighbors and teachers also step up as supporters (not main care-givers) to help make these changes rather than permanently regarding these kids as unfixable thuglettes.
