Erin is the daughter of Thomas and Genevieve Ramsey of Peachtree City. Erin graduated from Samford University, Birmingham, Ala. with a BA in Communications and a MS in Environmental Science. Paul (Larry) and Frances Meaders celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on July 25th, 2013.

Larry and Frances grew up in the Capital View/Sylvan Hills area of Atlanta. They married on July 25, 1948 at the Capital View Methodist Church in Atlanta. They lived and raised their four children in the Atlanta area until they moved to Peachtree City in 1972.

Larry was an employee of Delta Airlines until he retired in 1987. Frances became the first full-time City Clerk of Peachtree City and was later appointed Director of Administrative Services. She retired in 1995 after 23 years. Read More»

WWII Veterans, John J. Steele and Marie L. Steele (Jack and Tootsie) of Peachtree City married 69 years ago on Aug. 3 on Miami Beach, after meeting while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps and WACS respectively.

The happy union led to an ever growing family with six married daughters, 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The ceremony was held at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC, with the bride’s father, Alan R. Click, officiating at the ceremony.
