Fayette County sheriff's deputies are asking the public to help identify a man who exposed himself to a group of teenage girls at the Fayette County Library Thursday night.

The flasher was described as a black male wearing a black baseball cap, a dark polo shirt and dark pants with a lanyard hanging out of the right pocket, according to Sheriff Barry Babb. He was last seen driving away from the parking lot in a dark colored four-door sedan with dark tinted windows, Babb said.

A library employee confronted the man inside the library after the girls reported he was "doing something he shouldn't be," Babb explained. As he walked out of the library, the man told staff his name was Cecil Smith, Babb added.

The girls were studying as a group when the incident happened, deputies said.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call sheriff's Det. Parker at 770-716-4752.
