Jacqueline Saunders Carr of Peachtree City

Mrs. Jacqueline Saunders Carr of Peachtree City, Ga., died July 15, 2015.

Mrs. Carr was born in Goldsboro, N.C., and was a 1944 graduate of Goldsboro High School. After graduation, she attended Mrs. Crumper's Secretarial School and worked as a secretary for Signal Radio Supply before her marriage to Gerald E. Carr of Youngstown, Ohio. She was an active member of Evergreen Church in Peachtree City, Ga.

Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald Carr; two sons, Michael J. Carr and wife Kristy of Sanford, N.C., and Chris B. Carr and wife Kari of Cornelius, N.C.; daughter Patricia Bragg and her husband Kenneth, Jr. of Peachtree City, Ga.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Sandra Harrington of Hellertown, Pa.; a brother, Leland Garris of Portsmouth, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen Jackson Thomas, age of 69

Kathleen Jackson Thomas passed away on July 9, 2015 at the age of 69.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Atlanta Ga. Kathleen attended Sandy Springs High School and Kennesaw State University. Kathleen's career was in sales. She was married on September 17, 1966 and lived in the Atlanta metro area until her passing. Those that knew Kathleen remember her as a unique and caring person.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Col. William E. Jackson and Mary Ann Jackson.

Philip Winn Harding, 80, of Peachtree City

Philip Winn Harding, 80, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away at home on Sunday, July 5, 2015.

Philip is survived by his wife of 58 years, Inga-Lill (Peterson) Harding. He is also survived by three siblings: Shirley Byczkowski (Stanley), Walpole, N.H.; Paul Harding (Marie), White River Junction, Vt.; Mary LaCasse (Chip), Burlington, Vt.. Also surviving are three children: René Griffith (Peter), Peachtree City, Ga.; Mark Harding (Sheri), Hermosa Beach, Calif.; Jacqueline Hall (Rob), Wildomar, Calif.; and seven grandchildren: Anna Bolduc (Aaron), Laura Belanger (James), D. Christopher Griffith, Marc Harding, Haley Hall, Cody Hall, and Tyler Harding. Also surviving are three great-grandsons, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Barbara Sheets, 68, of Fayetteville

Barbara Sheets, 68, of Fayetteville, Ga., died Saturday, June 27, 2015.

Mrs. Sheets was retired from Georgia Power where she was a valued supervisor in Customer Service and was known as the “go to girl” for a solution. She participated in many law enforcement training exercises and mentored many grammar school children. Mrs. Sheets was given a special award by the FBI in the Atlanta child murder cases. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Hortman.
