PTC resident is found dead; overdose suspected

A Peachtree City man was found dead at his home Feb. 24 from a suspected drug overdose.

Peachtree City Police Department spokesperson Odilia Bergh said the 25-year-old man was found deceased Tuesday morning by family members at the Lakewood Lane residence.

It is believed the man passed away sometime during the previous night, said Bergh.

Bergh said the preliminary investigation indicated that the death was due to a suspected drug overdose.

The body was sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation lab.
