Four GOP Presidential contenders fail to make the ballot in Virginia. What a pathetic display of organizational skills.

The Law

That's a shame. Someone on their staff should have their hands slapped! You can't play the 'ole boys game' in front of the country - and not have your business in order. GET THOSE SIGNIGTURES!! Maybe the legal counsel for the NAACP can help them - they seem to know how to follow the law and get things done! LOL

D_mom, LOL, maybe the Republican candidates should have hired Acorn to get the signatures they needed. Then they wouldn’t need the NAACP’s help in the Virginia courts. 8 - )

After the Republican candidates got the signatures they needed, Acorn would be fired on some imaginary pretence. I hear those Republican’s like firing people. They probably give out awards to one another when they discuss these matters in quiet rooms someplace, eh?

Gort: totally agree

The LP every Presidential election cycle has to assemble/plead/coerce and go out in every state to get the required amount of valid signatures just so their candidate can be on the ballot and get 1% or less of the vote, but they dutifully make it happen.

Here, you have so-called political professionals with national recognition who are too inept to assemble any kind of a campaign for the highest office in the land. How the hell could anyone vote for a candidate whose campaign is this incompetent? It's not a "Virginia issue;" it's an issue of competency and the requirement they failed to meet is hardly onerous.

The fact that Repubs have led the charge for voter ID laws in several states and these clowns fall on their own swords is an irony that won't be lost on the Dems, or a lot of other people. Hey Rick, as they say in your native Texas: "all hat and no cattle." Don't make bold moves if you aren't ready to back it up with your own actions.

Nuk_1, does Intrade have a line on the ruling,

if it will be overturned by a higher court? I thinking it will. A GOP friendly judge will be found in the nick of time! I’ll pretend to be shocked and outraged. 8 - )
