Dictator Obama: “I refuse to take ‘no’ for an answer,”
What will dictator Barrack Hussein Obama do when the Americans toss him out of office on his can in November? Will he refuse to leave and attempt to continue to dictate his socialist policies on America? Will he "occupy" the White House like his minions from the occupy movement are doing now? Will he throw a temper tantrum again and claim supreme leadership over the United States?
-ignoring Congress and the War Powers Act. Since they rolled-over anyway, I don't know if I really blame Obama.
-auto industry bailouts where he fires CEO's, Board of Directors, and totally ignores rights of creditors while also moving union members to the first of the line.
-the Justice Department under his administration is a farce.
-"Obamacare" and it's waivers that King Obama decides to grant or not
-targets/kills American citizens under the guise of "anti-terrorism"
-signs the Defense Authorization Act so Americans can be indefinitely detained with no rights whatsoever.
-all of his "czars" that aren't subject to any oversight whatsoever and have been de facto supervisors over appointed and confirmed Cabinet members
Obama also thinks his czars cannot be compelled to testify before Congress over their activities.
I have never in my lifetime seen a President that believes he has the power to literally do anything he thinks he can.
Government gone wild...
1) When Mitt Romney wins the election in 2012, do you think he will make the slight changes needed in Obama care to change it to Romneycare? Do you think he will move to the middle and re-embrace his pro choice roots as well, allowing abortion funding to be a part of Obamacare as it is in Romneycare now?
and
2) What caused "conservatives" to adopt the "Okay for me but not for thee" philosophy?
Abortion.....Recess appointments......filibusters......War Powers Act Provisions..... Patriot Act provisions. No problem as long as it's a "conservative" doing it.
Everything President Obama has accomplished has clear GOP roots. I give you Romneycare as an example. Don't try to tell me "conservatives" reject the government overreach. If that was true "conservatives" as a whole would have supported Ron Paul in '08 and he'd be leading now. But your "conservative" whining is bankrupted by your coalescing behind the liberal republican shape-shifter Romney; just like "conservatives" gave us McCain. And y'all thought America would buy McCain; just like you seem to think Americans will buy Mr. "Say whatever the audience in front of me at the moment wants to hear" Romney in '12.
Good luck with that holding your nose and voting, boys. You'll need a bit of luck to get Romney elected. But the funny thing will be to see him govern as he always has governed; as a liberal Republican, conservative only in name.
1) No. I don't see any chance of abortion being part of government insurance coverage.
2) When was the last "conservative" to be President? There hasn't been one in my lifetime. The people who have claimed that mantle have only expanded the size and scope of government as well as what was once record deficits, making the Repub Party very similar to the Dem Party. About the only issues the two parties disagree on are social.
3) Who said I am voting for Romney? I'm voting LP. I think Romney is a much better choice than Obama as President but he doesn't have what I am looking for with my vote. I think the Repubs have failed miserably when given the opportunity and I think Obama/Reid/Pelosi are atrocious.
Wish I could say the same for our blogging law enforcer (yes, the dig was intentional bigfoot).
that is my point, Nuk. Local conservatives are crying in their beer saying we need to take our country back, yet their legislators have consistently GROWN government. And, big secret revealed, PUBLIC SECTOR jobs are decreasing under Obama's Presidency, as private sector employment is increasing. Those are facts that may or may not have anything to do with the President's policies, but to say he is growing the government is not honest.
Nuk, you will have a choice between two liberals in November. One has a backbone and doesn't serve as what John Huntsman terms "a perfectly lubricated weather vane." One does. My vote will be E A S Y bro.
How ya gonna vote LP if there isn't one on the ballot? You do write-in? BTW, I like Charles Krauthammer's view of Ron Paul: "I find him a principled, somewhat wacky, highly engaging eccentric." Don't look for him on a national ballot.
They generally qualify for almost every state each Prez election.
With one exception I am going to hold my nose and vote for ABO this time. I really believe we, the USA, cannot stand another 4 years of this Administration..
At the rate this administration keeps killing terrorists, there will be no one left for conservatives to start an unfunded war with! we've gotta get this guy out of office in a hurry :-D
ROTFLMAO
ops
On what planet do you guys live?
FINALLY! Joe Kawfi has an avatar he won't be forced to change in a week! Good thinking on your part.
PERIOD.
As a Candidate Obama he railed against Bush usurping the power of Congress and participated in the pro-forma sessions to stop Bush from recess appointments. As President Obama he says he has the authority to usurp Congress and make recess appointments during pro-forma sessions.
He believes he has unlimited powers. He believes he has the authority to dismiss the other branch of Government.
This will be seen in later years as the most corrupt administration ever.
