that created their reputation as adulterers. As far as I know, no one held a gun to their head and told them to commit adultery.
BTW, you got me, I got my poles and polls mixed up. Sorry, …Ops!
...you've convicted Cain already! Will their be a show trial, comrade??!
or not but it’s still his reputation.
Would you allow your allow your wife or daughter to go on a job interview with Herman Cain?
His whole campaign has been a book tour that morphed into running for President. As Don King would say, "Only in America!" Imagine his next book!
Cain's political problem is more one of timing. The alleged 13 year affair of booty calls with someone isn't going to help no matter when, but when it comes out after the sexual harassment accusations, it's the straw that broke the camel's back.
I can't speak for everyone, but if 'ol Herman was getting some side action and paying this loser some $$$, I'm not sure that would be the biggest issue in 2011. His problem is the accusations of using his position of power years ago in the NRA to sexually harass those lower on the corporate food chain and now having this alleged affair biz come out right afterwards. A couple of shut-up payoffs followed by this latest fiasco doesn't scream CHARACTER, and it also makes people focus on what is probably the most damning accusation: did he use his lofty position to try and coerce sexual favors from women? That is a bigger deal than the adultery, IMO, though I sure as hell am not saying the "other" part is no big deal either.
Give it up Herman and go back to being a stand-in for Neil Boortz. President of the USA is not in your pedigree by any means when it comes to actual issues, much less your personal life which is in shambles.
There is no grand Cain Conspiracy. I don't see accusations being leveled at Mitt Romney for drinking a beverage with caffeine in it, Michelle Bachmann sleeping with the football team, or Rick Perry losing the Master Debator competition in High School. Everyone knows Newt's dirty laundry and no one cares if Rick Santorum did anything at all. Where there is smoke there is fire indeed.
...they can file suits, too! Besides, I may not bench 300 anymore, but I got enough left to have a come-to-Jesus conversation with him if he did so.
KC Andy, okay, if you say so. (NT)
in the poles, isn’t it ‘just lovely’ to watch the apologist for the GOP squirm while making excuses for the actions of their candidates?
In the poles? Would that be the North or South pole? I didn't know that Herman or Newt went to the poles? I wouldn't go it would be too cold for me. I did hear that Newt was doing well lately in the polls!
I got my poles and polls mixed up. Sorry, …Ops!
It is a fact, Newt is doing well in the polls but he still has a reputation as an adulterer. Some would argue Newt may be one of the most influential adulterers Washington, DC has ever known.
I wonder if the Guinness World Records people keep track of stuff like that.
Just what Ops are you talking about? Medical Ops? Ops ed? See, Gort, I can go on all day with this if I REALLY DO NOT want to talk about the larger issue you are addressing :-D.
Cheers!
Herman’s fall in the “POLLS.” It’s a natural human instinct that they strike out at anyone that mentions his name in unflattering terms rather than face the reality of the situation. 8 - )
Buckle up Kevink. Get ready for some of that good old “Right Wing Social Engineering,” because Newt is back in the saddle again, riding high on his horse called Ego, and cracking his tongue like a whip at anyone that stands in his way.

Sometimes Newt reminds me of this scene from my favorite movie:
V: But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
Evie: Are you like a crazy person?
V: I’m quite sure they will say so.
and very applicable to the New Newt we kNow Now!
Once again, true life imitates art. 8 - )
Kevin, believe you were given the honor of coming up with place & time--You given any thought to that?

Ron Paul was sick of his position as a GOP sideshow and ready to flex his own political muscles.
I know exactly what you mean about Jon Huntsman. Smart guy with a good record in public office but so far he seems unwilling to “chop off chicken heads and drink blood” with the TeaParty wing of the GOP.
For selfish reasons, I liked Jon Huntsman better when he worked for President Obama as Ambassador to China. 8 - )
