Even though the Obama administration brought undue pressure against Texas, Governor Perry denied a stay of execution for convicted Rapist and Killer
Humberto Leal. Humberto, an illegal alien, raped then killed a teenager in 1996 and was convicted and sentenced to death.
Many pro-amnesty groups protested Texas decision and have filed multiple appeals in Humberto defense. They sought to keep this case
tied up for as long as possible to make it to expensive to keep fighting.

The Obama Administration entered the fray and attempted to sway Governor Perry and if not him the Texas courts to keep the scheduled execution from taking place.
The administration, as it's justification for interfering in a State legal matter, cited the potential for creating an International incident.

Where was the Administrations "concern" over International incidents when the Mexican Army murdered an American and attempted to cover up the act by placing a gun on his person
and then lying about the circumstances?

The Associated Press reported on: Dec 26, 2010

On the night of August 22, 2010 Joseph Proctor a 32 year old American had went out to a local store in the neighborhood where they lived in the quiet Mexican beach town where the couple had just moved.
He had told his girlfriend he would only be gone for a few minutes.
The next morning, the 32-year-old New York native was dead inside his crashed van on a road outside Acapulco. He had multiple bullet wounds. An AR-15 rifle lay in his hands.
Liliana Gil Vargas, was told to come to the local police HQ, where she was told Joseph had died in a gunbattle with an army patrol.
They claimed Joseph had attacked the troops. They showed her the gun.

It took months for his family to fight through the Mexican military styled justice system and the uncaring American Government to finally get justice for their family

Three soldiers where charged with killing Joseph. Two have been charged with planting the AR-15 on Joseph and claiming that he fired first, according to a Mexican Defense Department document sent to her through the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.

According to the Associated Press it is at least the third case this year in which soldiers, locked in a brutal battle with drug cartels, have been accused of killing innocent civilians and faking evidence in cover-ups.

Where is the outrage from the Administration over this? Where was their concern over an International incident here?

Where is the outrage over an out of control Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) allowing loads of guns to go into Mexico to be used by the drug cartels. Weapons that were then used to kill a Border Patrol Agent. Where is the news coverage of ether event?

Why is this Administration allowing our borders to be violated? Our laws circumvented?

Texas did the right thing. They executed a piece of human garbage and told this Administration to stay out of Texas affairs.

Thank God for Texas.

What do you expect? This is the same administration that found no wrongdoing by the Black Panthers when they were caught on film intimidating voters in front of a polling place. This is a pro-thug administration.

They ignore the rule of law, such as DOMA which is the law of the land because they disagree with it.

They are slowing up job group with their endless investigations of Boeing and Delta because they are the Obama administration is beholden to unions. I wonder if Obama uses toilet paper to wipe Richard Trumka's arse or if he just uses his bare hand to do it.

This administration is lawless, corrupt, and completely clueless.

Obama, Hilary and UN we violated International Law

Folks I find myself at a loss for words. Something I am not used to.

So I will just give an excerpt of the story.

""The secretary herself is quite disappointed in the outcome in this case," Clinton's spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, said Friday. "You know that the U.S. government sought a stay of Leal's execution in order to give the Congress time to act on the Consular Notification Compliance Act, which would have provided Leal the judicial review required by international law.
"Frankly if we don't protect the rights of non-Americans in the United States, we seriously risk reciprocal lack of access to our own citizens overseas," Nuland said. "So this is why the secretary is concerned. ... We've got to treat non-Americans properly here if we expect to be able to help our citizens overseas."
U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said the punishment "raises particular legal concerns," including whether Leal had access to consular services and a fair trial."
