Fayette/PTC crime stats

Can we move into the real world and stop pretending nothing bad happens in Fayette County? I joined Spotcrime so I could keep up with the crime in my community and 11 Alive Spotcrime informed me that Fayette County and PTC do not share there crime info. I guess we wouldn't want people to think we have crime here. They may choose not to live here, or better yet start leaving.
Just read this paper every week.
It's there.
No one is hiding it.
Maybe it's just not the thing we find most news worthy here.
