Gasoline up 100% under Obama

Feeling pain at the pump? Gas prices have doubled since Mr. Obama took office. According to the GasBuddy gasoline price tracking web site, the price of a gallon of regular gas was around $1.79 when Mr. Obama took office.
Meanwhile, 2/3rds of all oil and gas leases remain inactive thanks to the incompetent community organizer sitting in the oval office. His incompetence in leading America to energy independence has cost tens of thousands of jobs, untold billions of lost revenue and put the U.S. at even greater mercy to despots who we must depend on for the oil. The buffoon Barrack needs to be voted out of office in 2012 if America is to prosper once again as a nation.

that were scrambling for time in front of a camera telling us how they feel our pain with a little tear in their eye?
I am listening but all I hear are the crickets.
btw- how long did that last and did the spike in oil futures have anything to do with that?
Additionally what policies can you point to that caused that spike?
Did he shutdown the oil rigs in the Gulf for instance?
Did he place a moratorium on new oil drilling?
Did he place off limits Anwar?
Just asking.
Oh and one more thing didn't Obama promise to ease those Gas spikes?

That it is down 12% since 3 months before he took office when prices were at an all time high of $4.12/gallon.
