"Today I authorized the Armed Forces of the United States to begin a limited military action in Libya in support of an international effort to protect Libyan civilians." That's how President Obama opened Saturday's briefing announcing his decision to launch a war in North Africa.

Obama on then President Bush’s action in Iran:
“ The president lacks the constitutional power "to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."

Hillary Clinton on then President Bush’s action in Iran:
"The Constitution requires Congress to authorize war."

Has Congress been briefed?
Has a declaration of War been issued?
What was the overridden factor that Obama feels was an imminent threat to us?

Quite frankly I agree with both of those statements. So the question begs to be asked what has changed.
Did Libya attack us?
Do they have an Army or Navy getting ready to invade us?
OMG do they have WMDs?

If the answers to all of the above are NO then how it is that President Obama can authorize the attack on a sovereign Nation?
Albeit one that is brutal in its application of governance and lack of even a modicum of human rights and why is the mainstream media tacitly complicit in this action.

So Rest In Peace the Constitution of the United States. You served us well for a time at least.

Sorry we failed to realize that what you offered was tentative at best and required nurturing.
Sorry we turned our backs on you as you were stabbed repeatedly and started bleeding.
Sorry we taught our children you were just an old document and not relevant.
Sorry we took the Freedoms and Liberties you offered us for granted.
Sorry we failed the Republic.
