The poor legacy of Jack Smith and Eric Maxwell continues. They are trying to sneak yet another meeting on the calendar to further their West Fayetteville Bypass plans before Steve Brown and Allen McCarty can take office. If the road to nowhere is such an incredible idea, then why are the commissioners having to sneak the thing through?

Please be advised that the Fayette County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Called Meeting on December 29, 2010, at 3 p.m. in the County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Suite 100, 140 Stonewall Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and consider real estate acquisition.
