What happened to Bugaboo Creek?
And what is happening at Pies On, drove by this morning and looks as though they are packing up?
Who knew?
Guess it's legal but sure isn't as tasty. There wasn't a problem, owner just decided not to sell it any longer. I haven't been back. Will just go over to Newnan and eat at Fabiano's.
You need check-in more frequently. I blogged about this a couple weeks ago - see "Free Speech". As Gym noted, Bugaboo shut it's doors. You need to keep up. I don't know about the pizza joint.
for the info.
Cy, I don't keep up or much of anything anymore; and btw I haven't heard from you in forever! ;^)
My favorite restaurant in PTC has died. A’meritage at Dogwood was a terrific place to dine. The food was great, the staff was excellent and the owners always made it a point to come around and make sure dinner was perfect! I think that maybe they could have done more to promote the place. Gosh knows we told and brought several of our friends there and everyone marveled at the level of quality in dining. You will be sorely missed and I venture to say most folks would also agree if you had ever had the pleasure to have dined there.
I never even heard of that place. I would have tried if if I had.
I must say Javatropico was excellent. Food, prices, atmosphere. The presentation of the meal on the plate was very professional. I could not believe I had that great of a meal in PTC.
Maybe it's a location hex--wasn't the Sun Dried Tomato in the same place?
I agree, CD. This was the best restaurant in Fayette County but was in the worst location. Why the owners went there is beyond me. Talk of them opening up in another location. Hope they come to PTC.
Went to the Olde Courthouse Tavern and was highly disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. The meat on the Ruben appears to be the packaged meat that you find in your local grocery store.
The set up at the front/back where you wait to be seated is ridiculous. You have to wait right outside of the kitchen and dodge wait/kitchen staff. By the time you get seated, your clothes smell like grease.
The tables are situated so close, you feel like you are sitting with neighboring talbes.
at the former Bugaboo Creek joint in Fayetteville. Has anyone heard about this?
Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse are going in those spots in Fayetteville. We've got a friend who works for them.
Spots? Would that include the old Carinos Italian joint as well?
Thanks!!!!!!!!
It sure would be nice if someone filled the location next to Chilis in PTC and the old Irish Bred Pub next to the Mellow Mushroom.
Heard Bugaboo Creek's parent company went Tango Uniform. Only thing I know about POP is that I no longer can have a beer with my pizza--boo, boo, hiss, hiss!
