Let's see.
He lies about his taxes.
He “forgot” to disclose between $500,000 and $1 million in unreported wealth.
He failed to reveal a staggering $3 million in various business transactions.
He failed to pay taxes on property in the Dominican Republic.
He used official letterhead in building support for an education center named for him at the City College of New York.

For all of this he get's censured and the House Democrats gives him a standing ovation.

I guess in the Democrat world committing crimes and being unethical and only getting a slap on the wrist is just being a good politician.

Wesley Snipes goes to jail

While Tim "I can't figure out Turbo Tax" Geithner is made head of the US Treasury and Charlie "I forgot about it" Rangel get's standing ovations for his tax cheating.

What kind of bizarro world do we live in now?

OofU, how you been? I haven’t

OofU, how you been? I haven’t written to you in a while so I thought I would drop by “The Citizen” and say hello. When it gets dark and you’re all alone, say hello to my old pal S.Lindsey for me?

Oh, my, that Charley Rangel is a bad man, isn’t he? Tsk! Tsk!

BTW, did you hear that Tom Delay was convicted of one charge of money laundering and one charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering?

Maybe Wesley and Tom can room together and swap some “tax cheat” stories? Wesley was an actor, Tom is a hoofer, so maybe they can write a musical during their incarceration. They can call it, “Dancing to the Big House!”

Gort good morning

Yes I did see that Delay had a TRIAL and was JUDGED by his peers and found GUILTY.

No more stark difference can be drawn between the parties.

Republicans kick their corrupt members out and they are prosecuted if found to have committed a crime.

Democrats gives their's Chairmanships and standing Ovations.

One shuns the corrupt the other celebrates it.

Are adultery and prostitution crimes?

Are adultery and prostitution still considered to be crimes nowadays?

If so, when will we see David Vitter and John Ensign kicked out of Congress?

Congress

should be kicked out of Congress! Trading value for votes is bribery and is unconstitutional! Ref Article II section 4 of the Constitution. Of course it is a problem when the crime is being committed by the ones the Constitution gives the power to oversee (senate)! Ref Article I section 3. -GP
