503 Service Unavailable errors
Just in case this happens to anyone else...
If you post a reply to a post with a link and very little text, you'll get thrown into a "moderation queue"....that's the good news.
The bad news is, if you attempt to reply to any other post here before your "moderated" post is approved, you'll get a white screen and the message 503 - Service Unavailable.
And I thought this only happened to me!
It appears that maybe we all are under surveillance---one way or another!
Somebody is always wanting someone silenced, not for porn or viciousness, but opinion.
Made the mistake of putting two links in a short post and got sent to Spammer timeout for almost a day.
I just switched to using a public proxy server to post as Drupal puts your IP address in its no-post spam filter for a few days, not your account.
The most irritating thing about the spam filter is that it sometimes considers linking to other posts RIGHT HERE ON thecitizen.com as spam!
And your point is?
Spam being both unwanted and unsolicited, how many of us have posted exactly that?
That just happened me. I was responding to Robert W Morgan on Sunday. I thought I had enough text but when hit "Save" I notice it was taking longer to post and then I got the dreaded "Service Unavailable" and white screen. It typically takes three to four days before you can post again.
Actually, your account is not frozen it just that you can't post using your service domain. I can still post at the office or on the road.
