The Detail Store
I will never set foot in The Detail Store again. That is the worst customer service experience I have had in quite some time....oh yes, now I remember, it was the worst since the last time I was in there. I gave them a second even a third chance, now I am done. I am doing my part to vote with my feet. In these days of hard economic times the only way to make my point is to not give them my business and get the word out about my experience. When you first drive up you are greeted by an attendant who is generally very pleasant and thankful. As soon as you enter the building to pay, however, that's a different story. The lady behind the counter doesn't say hello or welcome or even bother to look at you when you hand her the ticket to pay! You get a smug looking, mad at the world, I'm not happy so no one is going to be happy person. Not the best person to greet customers and take their money! She never looked at me while I was getting my wallet out to pay. When she took my credit card to run it through.....nothing, handed me my credit card.....nothing. She then asks me to sign the receipt, never looking up! I asked her for a pen, she told me "it's right over there", which was right in front of her, and never made a motion to hand me the pen. I'm through with that company. I told her when they had finished my car that I would not be back, and that it was because of her and her horrible attitude. She shrugged her shoulders and never looked up. I guess they are doing great in these economic times and don't need my business! Good luck to them, they are going to need it, I have a BIG MOUTH and I intend to tell everyone I know about my experience there.
