First.. You edited my title.. I was not notified I did not know you did it. I changed it back because it changed the meaning of the post.
Second.. Which terms or condition did it violate.. I have read them quiet well and no abusive language or "outing" or anything that applies occurred.

Here are the site rules.. Which did mine violate.

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
• Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
• Upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents.
• Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer.
• Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Communication Service specifically allows such messages.
• Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.
• Download any file posted by another user of a Communication Service that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
• Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
• Pose as another real person on this site for whatever reason.
• Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Communication Services.
• Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service.
• Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

I have participated here and I believe have brought a lot of attention to your site. I will no longer participate in any discussions or blogs until this is cleared up.

Sincerely,
Steve Lindsey

Cal.. Would you answer here?

I don't care for site censorship be it Left or Right. I am not one of your reporters were you can "Edit" their headlines.

If you would have made an "Editors Note" with the change then I would have understood. But to just arbitrarily change a posters headline and materially change the substance of the post is just wrong. What's next changing comments that you don't particularly agree with?

You placed the [Parody] word in my headline as if I wrote it. That is what I am objecting to. Since it was not locked which you could have done I changed it back. A simple "Editor's note" about the change would have answered for me who did it and why.. I still would not have agreed but at least I would have known who did it.

So I changed it back to it's originally written meaning. Here is the censorship.. you completely removed the post.

Here is the definition of Parody

par·o·dy [ párrədee ]
amusing imitation: a piece of writing or music that deliberately copies another work in a comic or satirical way
parodies in general: parodies as a literary or musical style or genre
poor imitation: an attempt or imitation that is so poor that it seems ridiculous

For you to have used that word is offensive to me. Words have meaning Cal you should know that.

This is your site.. You can do as you please with it.. I understand that. But at least look at it from my perspective as well.

Saw the original

I believe it was more a Satire piece then a Parody.. An Editor should know that. Hope you start posting back soon. I have followed your stuff for awhile on the other "blogs" you post on. Loved them.. Well written and researched.

S.Lindey, well, well, I was

S.Lindey, well, well, I was wondering what happened to you! The last time I visited “The Citizen” you were sending us reports from the gulf on the oil clean-up.

When I didn’t see any ‘S.Lindsey’ comments on the forum this evening, my first thought was that you may still be in the gulf,.. stuck to a giant tar ball, ..floating in the sea,.. living off grey pelican’s, and baby turtles.

Then I found this! That must have been some piece of work you posted, I’m sorry I missed it. Some take the high road,.. others take the low road,.. this time you must have taken the “psycho-path,” if Cal had to remove it from the forum!

I see your outrage about being censored and your self imposed exile lasted almost eleven hours before you reincarnated yourself as ‘Observerofu.’ You couldn’t stay away could you? (Ha, ha,) See you in the funny papers.

Gort...

I happen to pass by and saw you left something on the rug.. I am so used to correcting you progressives's mistakes and errors I just can't help myself.

First let me address the Oofu comment. As much grief as I gave to others over their changing persona's I don't think I would be dumb enough to post back to my own comment.. Surest way to get caught.. or is that what I want you to think hmmmm.

One small correction you need to look at the dates. My last post was 7/14 Oofu was on 7/27 you were only off by a week or so. Why let facts get in the way of a good story.

Now if you had read my comments you would have found that Cal changed a comment without my knowledge and when I changed it back he deleted the entire article.
He has never said just what "Terms of service" I violated. He can't because I did not violate any written code. Just an unwritten one. The one that says Cal has the right to alter and change our comments anytime he feels like it and if we dare to disagree well he will just shut you down.

You Libs should be on my side in this one.. You guys always complain that the Citizen is right winged and not balanced.
What would you do?
You create an article say the title is "Bush caused 9/11" after a few days you come back on and find your title was changed to "Obama caused 9/11" you change it back and the next thing you know ole Cal deletes the whole thing and smacks you down in public. You say it won't happen? It already has.
If he will do it to someone ideologically aligned as I am, what is to say he won't do it to you?

What cal did was ethically wrong and then he compounded that error by lying about violating terms of service. Fact is he was wrong to do it. He was wrong for not being man enough to admit it and he was wrong for not correcting it. When you are KING it's ok to be wrong. All hail to the King.

You're falling for your own propaganda. That old canard about us liberals wanting everything fair and balanced? That's not our slogan dude, that's yours.

Now here you are whining because a private businessman is operating his own business as he sees fit. Over a resource he was giving you for free.

Fair and balanced is a fantasy. What's the point in owning a newspaper if you can't print what you want and antagonize your foes? That old saying about getting in an argument with a man who buys ink by the barrel is valid for a reason.

What kind of fair weather conservative are you? Free enterprise! The Golden Rule! Capitalists pigs!

C'mon SL.

Jeff I am not surprised

that you missed the bigger picture. Maybe next time yours will be the one altered.. btw ink by the barrel may be scary to say someone from the Times.. The Citizens not so much.

You went way too far with the unidentified "parody". Take it like a man.
