Perhaps We Need To Relook The Right To Carry

Just read an article today about a gentleman out in Seattle, who while in a Lynwood department store had his pistol discharge while wearing it on his waist. He suffered wounds to his testicles, leg and foot.

Some will never learn.

According to the TEAs all should be allowed to carry a gun. It is in the constitution! (well regulated militia).

If he wants to shoot off something of his, he can. How old does the constitution say one must be to carry? How intelligent or sane?

Or are you meaning he may shoot YOU by accident sometime?
That is the price we pay for a well regulated militia.
They may come for our guns at any time now.

A lot of crooks have guns but they usually shoot each other. Maybe if that were legal?

Slickharry....

Actually, I saw it as funny. I will defend your right to carry, my problem is that some have neither the judgement, nor the cajones to do so. They are more apt to hurt a bystander, than someone intending them harm.

None so respects a weapon than he who has felt its effect.

You confuse me a little (not hard to do).
Are you for or against everyone carrying a gun if they want to do so?

If you want any regulations on carrying, then you are no TEA or NRA person!

I wouldn't want to hear that some regulations are necessary---then those are just opinions!

Mike King, the NRA and others in the gun lobby, would never allow any consideration to what you suggest.

Slickharry, for the record, I

Slickharry, for the record, I fully support the right of all members of the Tea Party to carry a sidearm and shoot off their testicles.

It will give them something else to yell about, although it will probably be in a higher pitch.

Close your eye beam shutter! Timmy is in trouble!

You must quit calling them the TEA "Party." They say they are not a "party."
They say they are just interested various groups who don't want any debt, although most of them have a minus net worth. They also like guns, want no federal money for the local schools, want some kind of preacher in as President, (no other religion will do except southern protestant), and absolutely no welfare except crop subsidies and Mexican field hands in the summer and fall only.

Their problem is that the government isn't forgiving their debts very much--just the liberal's debts.

They know that a "third party" won't fly in the USA. So they will just infiltrate the republicans.

Anything your world can do about this?

Slickharry, the eyebeam

Slickharry, the eyebeam should not make anyone shudder, actually it is a guiding light so I can find my own way.

You’re probably right. I should stop calling them the “Tea Party.” The problem is I just can’t resist. I’ve always hoped they would evolve, (pardon me, am I allowed to say evolved,) into a political party. I even offered to help them name the new party. The “Full-of-Bluster Party.”

Just think of it, the next time the history books are printed they would have to record the name of the “Full-of-Bluster Party,” right next to the “Bull Moose,” and “Know Nothing’s.” Somehow, it just seams so right, doesn’t it?

My world has nothing to offer. My mission was to find intelligent life and I was glad to leave. Not that I found any intelligent life here. Both worlds are victims of their own dogma and deserve pretty much what they got.
