I saw on the news where Perdue and the state congress passed a new sales tax to shuffle out to localities for transportation purposes---whatever that is.

Now if we can just get our county sales tax through for paying our debts here in PTC, we will be all the way to 8% sales tax.

Then if Boortz and company can get the 30% sales tax through instead of federal tax, we will be as well off as Switzerland! 38% sales tax.
(I know he says 23% but he is trying to fool us.)

Man alive, $12 a pound steak will then be $17 per pound.
$3.29 loaf of edible bread will only be $5
Sliced ham and cheese goes then for $14 a pound.
A $30,000 car would be $41, 400 only.

How accurate is this?

I think this one also disappeared to the dark, dank, dungeons of "more comments" without you seeing it!

Maybe only "rolled over" every few days? (Some).

If money is needed for

If money is needed for transportation projects, put a higher tax on gasoline and automobiles. If new bypass is needed, set up a toll booth. Money has to come from somewhere. Roads and bridges must be repaired. Cities tend to build things they don't need. This has got to stop. SPLOST is NOT the answer.
