I want to take a moment here to thank my Citizen friends here for their support of my recent fund raiser for children's cancer. Like every other time I've asked, my citizen friends have come through. Together we raised over $1500 to help fund a cure, overall over $3700 was raised by 12 people shaving their heads. I don't know anyone who has not had cancer touch their lives in one way or another and this was my way of helping out a little. I won't tell you which one of these young men I was, I'll leave it to your own imaginations........ www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QDTF8IFiN8

Cancer research

There was a comment on here about money donated to "cancer research" actually goes to help Pharmaceutical Companies do some research (after admin. costs removed).

Then the Pharmaceutical companies can pay their stockholders more due to the contributions!

May be better to donate it to a family with cancer who needs it now.

These companies will do the research anyway, except the pills will cost 4-5 dollars more each.
