Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) have decided all American Workers need a National ID card complete with a Biometric ID tag that contains your personal info..
Don't cha just love the Socialist Country we are getting.. Now that's CHANGE for ya... First they Gave us the RIGHT of Healthcare then they tagged us to make sure WE are legal..
Lawmakers working to craft a new comprehensive immigration bill have settled on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would eventually be required to obtain.
Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.

I will say it one more time......
The ONLY sure way to stop illegals from staying here and even coming here is NOT TO HIRE THEM!
As long as our republican business people continue to hire them (vegetables here in GA) they will come.
With no payday they will go and not come back.
Fences and companies of guards and machine guns and helicopters, and planes and drones stop very, very little. Then they simply try again.
The dam fence is a horrible waste of money....like trying to keep squirrels out of the bird feeder! They got babies to feed.

Bonkers with the common sense approach to immigration
It IS really that simple. You eliminate the dodge employers use("we hired a contractor and didn't realize all of those people were illegals")with stiff punishments and serious accountability and you start to address the incentive the illegals have, i.e. GETTING HIRED AND PAID IN THE USA.
I'm all for increased border security at the same time, but you have to address both problems or you're just spitting into the wind. Every politician and union salivates at the prospect of millions of illegals suddenly becoming "their constituents" so expect nothing more than a half-azz solution, designed to offend no one and to not address any problem.
Thinking that people aren't going to leave a 3rd world cesspool like Mexico that is falling apart rapidly is complete ignorance when being exploited in the USA is much more promising, risks and all. It's a no-brainer for most illegals. Stay in a total dump or risk your life for something better. I know which choice I'd make under the present political situations in both the US and Mexico.

They would not come if there was no work for them!
So why spend all of that money and awful duty on the border if no one is coming in?
Dope through Mexico is the real problem since it is the easiest place to do it with hundreds coming in to work--they bring some with them.
Even if enough people could guard that 4000 mile border they would simply come in in Canada, California, Florida, Georgia and even the whole east coast.

I don't know any democratic business men who hire illegals to pick vegetables and put on roofs, and dig ditches! And sell pine straw.
Not in This area or even in Georgia.
Now that is not to say there might not be one or two but basically that's it. Democratic business men can afford to hire professional legals.
Even Sonny, our Governor who hates illegals, he says, said not long ago that they couldn't be picked up until fall when the crops were in!
I assure you they will still be in the fields and what contractor roofs there are this year also.
I did run across one semi-honest republican grower once who said he wanted to send them home in the fall and have them come back in the spring. He wouldn't let them out of the sheds they lived in on his property. Sheriff helped him with that. I'm writing a book on that! Called "Real Hypocrisy," "A Way Of Life."

Mexican Workers
My pine straw provider from Meriwether County told me he got rid of Mexican workers because because they were unreliable andjust a PIA. He has switched from local collection of straw to buying it from a Florida location. Makes less revenue but has no local hassle.

That place seems to be just a big jungle between here and the swamps where it turns into a NASCAR red-nek jungle.
I'll also bet his straw is 1-2 dollars more per bale in cost! Has to be---transported that far. Do the Mexicans transport it to Georgia?
Tell me some details, please. Maybe they hide dope in the bales! That would keep the price down.
Just have my doubts, that's all!

Reagan did make all here legal when he was President, so we do have many that are.
The $3.50 price is only .50 more than I paid last time by a wandering truck and trailer.
I have found that some companies sell straw that is 20% sticks and stones. The Mexicans generally don't do such thing...afraid they will be turned in.
I have no problem with honest working illegals. I figure congress will let what we have stay as did Reagan.
They shouls stipulate though that they must register and be checked for felonies first, here and in Mexico.
Then let all that will come from Mexico come and all they have to do is register at the border.
Then PUT EMPLOYERS OR CONTRACTORS IN JAIL (not just threaten or fine) WHO DON'T CHECK THE LEGALITY OF ALL THEY HIRE, including other races. The boss, not the hiring agent.

The pickers I'm sure would want to vote democratic if they could. (paid more and more (some) benefits, you know?)
Them Californians seems to me voted in a Republican Governator, didn't they?
(he Is a token one, (but rich) I suppose) Like Carville, he married the opposite party just in case!.
He really runs a tight ship in California.
I am an Independent as proven by voting for both sides in different elections over the years. I do not follow each and every dictate of any party. I do think we need only two parties however---that is enough choice. We don't want candidates elected out of 3-4 parties with a small percentage of the votes.

When this story broke the left immediately branded Krentz as a Right winged loony. "Patroling" his property. Instead he was helping the Illegals crossing his property by creating watering stations.
Yet they still KILLED the rancher that was HELPING them.. Border Patrol followed the tracks of the killer/s for approx 20 miles until they crossed back over the border.
Citizens are "BEGGING" the Obama administration to mobilize the National Guard to attempt to stem the Drug Cartels pouring over the Border and bringing their WAR with them.
Obama's response.. He cancels the training of special Military units for training by the Border police. Units that would have the effect of slowing if not stopping the violence.
Another administration paying lip service to our National Security. When will these people learn. Our borders are WIDE open for TERRORIST and DRUG CARTELS to walk over and we are DOING NOTHING to stop them..
