Wow!

Isn't it time for all representatives in Congress to get together and work towards real 'tax reform' and make the guidelines enforceable so that the IRS, regardless of who is in the WH or who is AG, can be controlled at least by the 'people'?

Careful DM...

An IRS "controlled.. by the "people'"

Gee, you're starting to sound like a TEA Party activist!

The Tea Party - (some of their spokespersons) - seem that they want the 'rich' and 'corporations' to control the men and women in our Congress rather than the constituents they represent. There is bipartisan distrust of the IRS. Groups who have appeared to not follow the guidelines for 501c3 have been targeted under all administrations since the guideline was implemented. Maybe there will be some cooperation in Congress to reform the tax guidelines. Ya think? The 'gotcha' game followed by no or little change is getting old.

Where do you find any documents or statements from the Teaparty that their platform is to have Corporations and those evil Rich people to control us? Where do you get this stuff?

DM you know it is much more then that... You might be correct IF Progressive or Liberal groups where also targeted for the same treatment BUT they were not so...... Even those that followed the guidelines where subjected to EXTRA scrutiny.

48 Liberal groups were given "EXTRA" scrutiny.. all were given exempt status after 90 days...

OVER 400 Patriot groups were give "EXTRA" scrutiny...many STILL have not been approved after 18 MONTHS...some where finally approved only AFTER the election...as you say...hmmmmmm

How does being asked the content of your PRAYERS part of the guidelines????

How does being told if you never protest planned parenthood you can qualify part of the guidelines???

How does revealing every donor, their employers, their families and then their correspondence part of the guidelines????

Fact is DM the guidelines WHERE NOT FOLLOWED by the IRS and THEY HAVE ADMITTED it... So stop down playing it DM this is a terrible abuse of power
period.

The IRS has all the information about large donors to any organization - right? The Civil Rights movement was considered 'leftist' - and many organizations and individuals were 'looked at' by the IRS. If an organization gives to a political cause - they cannot get 501c3 status. Right? This (the zeroing in on certain groups) is an intimidating practice by the IRS - and now maybe it will stop.

DM none of the links.. say what you state...

Not one of them say the platform of the Teaparty is to allow Corporations and the Rich to control us.

Let me clue you in the Red Cross is a corporation so is the Salvation Army... Are they evil?

Additionally some of the Richest people also give the most so... are they evil? What makes them evil DM and how is the Teaparty a tool for them?

Are you saying if any organization has sponsors then they are being controlled? Really...

On and btw- AlterNet REALLY... you might as well have use a link from Moonbattery.com DM...

You mocked me for using You Tube as a source and you go and use AlterNet.. be careful DM it might lower your massive IQ a few points and suggarfoot just might pass you if you keep this up..

Where do you find in their platform or any political organization that they do not? This has been a tool of politicians since the beginning of time. There is nothing new under the sun - and today's Tea Party is not an exception. Take the power from 'the people' - and allow only those that 'the/a party' feel are capable of governing actually govern.

New stuff comes in everyday. Not trying to argue with you or your opinion - just offering another point of view.
Everyone here knows that you are always right. By the way - the safety class is being offered in Peachtree City for women. Thanks.
