* What if you knew a storm was coming?
What would you do if you saw all over the world wide media that there was a huge storm coming?
What would you do if you knew a huge storm was coming but you weren't sure where it was going to hit, how hard it would hit, or how it would effect your life?
What if you saw people on the evening news clearing out the grocery store shelves of all the food and water, toilet paper, gasoline, generators, and so on?
What if you saw lines at the bank from people withdrawing their cash just in case the power is out for an extended period of time?
People all around our nation are preparing for some sort of storm but none of them are exactly sure what kind yet. I keep thinking that I need to prepare but then I realize that I have no idea what to prepare for. I do know that any kind of preparation supplies are now at an all time high.
I guess the main question I want to ask is, if you are going to prepare, what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for a day when you see someone on Fox, or CNN say it's time to prepare now? If we ever see and hear that message it will already be too late.
I'm asking because I am not near as ready as I want to be and sometimes I feel like there is no reason to prepare at all. But then some days I see signs that remind that things are getting really bad. Crime is on the rise, tensions world wide are on the rise, unemployment is at a 25 year high, the Fed is devaluing our dollar almost on a daily basis by printing more and more money, our Government is creating a debt that no one could repay in our lifetimes, very little if anything is being done about the influx of illegals crossing our borders from the south and that's getting even worse with all the violence going on down there. And yet our "leaders" think that our worst threat is Iraq and Afghanistan? The central banks and the greed in America are far more a danger to us than foreign countries are right now. Our President just signed a law giving him Executive powers to shut down our main line of communication and in my opinion our only source for truth (the internet) if he declares a national emergency. Well if we are all stocked up on supplies and a national emergency is declared, the internet shut down, then the only source we would have to "news" is our TV and we all know they would never lie to us right? LOL
We are learning more and more everyday that media hypocrisy is turning us all against each other. We know that voting for the Left is no better than voting for the Right, they are both wrong. And both sides have made it abundantly clear that they are going to waste our tax dollars no matter how loud we scream.
I read this week that Ron Paul is predicting a complete economic collapse within the next 16 months. I'm not sure what he is using as a scale but it seems pretty clear to me that about the time the health care issue starts becoming a reality that this is also the time that hyper inflation will be inevitable.
I don't know what the answers are right now. I guess in order to prepare correctly you have to know what you are preparing for and that I do not know. What I do know is that government spending is not slowing down, the printing presses are not slowing down, people are beginning to get desperate, it is becoming more and more apparent that our "representatives" are not listening to us, tens of thousands are jobs per month still going out the window, and I have this gut feeling that we are just one man made or natural disaster away from complete collapse in this country and that has me a bit worried. I think a lot of people are waking up but I feel like the majority of the country is still in a Mass Media induced comma and have no clue that we are being led to slaughter.
What are your thoughts?
