Mayor Clifton must think the laws don't apply to him like they do to the rest of us.

Well, Clifton has done it again.....he was given a speeding ticket this week by a Fayette County Deputy ... glad the deputy did not treat him "special" and gave Clifton a ticket .

I am trying to verify....does

I am trying to verify....does anybody know if the Mayor really was doing 70 in a 40mph zone?! I thought you would get arrested if you did that much over the limit!
I heard from a source in Fayetteville that he was caught doing 70 mph on Godby Road.....in a 40 mph zone....I know (from a law enforcement officer) that he has gotten "several tickets" before in Fayette County.....sounds like another "Horgan driver"....way to go Harold Bost!....another one of your boys making Fayette County proud!.....

Mayor Speedy

Ah come on, you know the Mayor just HAD to be at the "Pay Bearden to leave Meeting" , besides like other government employees including Cops,,speed limits don't apply.
If I had a Dollar for every Deputy doing well over 45 on Sandy Creek (ER LIGHTS OFF) I could single handlely fix Fayette School budget problems...
and EVERYONE reading this KNOWS Police are immune to Speed Limits ,,so why not Mayors................
but YES kudos to the officer that had the reproductive organs to issue a ticket...now let's see the SAME treatment to his or her Blue Wallers ...

I am now wondering if he will

I am now wondering if he will really pay a fine...or if his ticket will somehow disappear...just saying...

Huntman & 'verification'

why would you care? Is he doing a good job as Mayor or not? That's what you should be verifying, not his driving habits.

Why do you care what I care

Why do you care what I care about? I don't need you to tell me what I should be verifying....good grief!...I will ask what I want to and try to verify what I want to....does not matter to me if you like it or not....his actions away from the City Hall tell me more about his character than when he knows he is being watched...if a person has flawed character, his job performance will always suffer sooner or later...

Huntman & "caring"

I notice that you "cared" about certain commissioners back last yr and accused some of conducting "shameful politics" and "personal vendettas" but when challenged to provide examples, you seemed a little short of facts. I guess Mayor Clifton is your latest whipping boy--stand by, we've got some new commissioners taking office soon and you'll have some new targets. Pedal to the metal now!

Is above 75 MPH on a two lane road and above 85 on all roads. No jail time, but you do get donate about $200 to local county's treasury along with all the normal fees.

BTW, This is what happens when one exceeds the VNE of a mountain bike:

I thought it was rather comical when the announcer said something about his "powerful" bike early on in the video. Anyways, it must have been one of those cheap Chinese bikes. They just can't take it.

VNE

OMG VNE on a Bike...dude,,,THAT is too funny ! still snicker'n over that

BUT
if I may,,
Having attended private Christian School, Raised in a Christian home, made to go to Sunday School and youth groups ALL of my pre "on my own" years, I find something REALLY funny.

Seems to me the Church going folks are really worried about my soul, beer whiskey and too much wine is BAD, God forbid I meet an Adult woman that would "service" me in a mutually agreed transaction and Lord knows if I decide to put Battery Acid in MY veins... all of that is a Sin, and then I'm told ,,
Follow Caesar's Laws, (as long as they don't go against God's Law)
Last I checked God wasn't worried about Speed... but dang them "good Baptist" at New Hope or the Methodist over here in Tyrone sure a heck don't mind Breaking Caesar's Speed Limit,,,,,,,,,BTW if GOD is "your co-pilot" I'm sure He's watching,, oh and What's up with this CO-Pilot CRAP? My God is THE Captain.......

You'll just have to seek what's right for you during your journey through life. Oh, about the alcohol and battery acid thingy; just remember big brother is watching, 14 CFR 120.

Any Teachers out there?

I have a Hornets Nest (Vacated) that was built against a Flat wall
once removed it is an almost "perfect sample" of Construction of Hornet Building abilities. It includes the "egg chamber" along with a dead queen and some workers.....
I would LOVE to give this to someone that could "share" it with kids.
