Barry wants to talk about the fiscal cliff. hahahha I just bet my two cents that isn't on the list of questions from those hand-raisers in the audience today. Nooo, Barry, you better have your nice on today, cuz they is gonna show you some love.
I do believe I could have lived a full and happy life without ever feeling the need to look up the word inviolability. In fact, I know I could have. That, and honorary consul. However, now that I have and realize that Jill Kelley, that dearie, sweetie who emails generals with the aforementioned terms of endearment (but then, don't we all?) was so instrumental in "helping to get support for (the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement) and she arranged meetings between the ROK Ambassador to Washington and local businessmen when the ROK Ambassador visited the Tampa area", I am thinking I am filled with admiration and such a sense of pride that this is how the greatest country in the world handles our foreign affairs (ahem). Yes, all the sweetness and care that the civilian female population provides for our 4 stars that I never knew about.
Then, I step back and think to myself, gosh, that just doesn't outweigh the sheer madness of this prezbo who has no handle on federal govt. agencies. Barry allows 4 just over the top patriots to serve to the death in a foreign land and be outnumbered and slaughtered on the slaughter anniversary of 9/11. To address this egregious attack, he follows up by using federal agencies to bring out flirting, cheating and wasteful spending by our military leaders. Man, Barry, you got it. Anything to deflect attention from his absolute worthlessness as a leader. Have a good presser today, Barry. We'll be watching.
Inviolable (adj.) 1) Secure from violation or profanation
2) Impregnable to assault or trespass; invincible
One can only wonder if Ambassador Chris Stevens and Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith and Glen Doherty felt inviolable as they took their last breaths. May they rest in peace.
I saw something on Twitter this morning that made me rather sick. The news media is all over this sex scandal and they have uncovered more in a week about affairs and emails than we have found out about Fast & Furious in two years and Benghazi in two months. Too bad the media doesn't have the same appetite for lost American lives and the coverups that are involved.
You are so right. Telemundo and Reuters asking what, 2 of the 8 or 9 questions allowed? Such mainstream American press, aren't they?
Climate change question? Man, so representative of what just about everyone in this country wake up each day waiting to ask Barry about, right?
Barry is bluffing and stalling. Refuses to answer to family of dead government employee in public. We see your bluff, Barry. We see your stall, Barry. And we're calling you on it.
Barry has no answers for Susan Rice's lies, so he chooses to attack the questioners. His leadership there is so profound, isn't it?
Four years from now, in addition to those of us who already know the answer, the 50 plus percent who voted yes to Barry for another 4 years will be screaming out loud, "What were we thinking in 2012 on Nov. 6th?"
The pressers waited 8 months for this measly 8-10 questions for a whopping 50 minutes and got these responses? When will they wake up and realize the prezbo takes them as a joke, too, and start doing real investigative journalism?
POTUS still side-stepped the question about "what orders did you give to protect the folks at the Benghazi Mission? We can only hope that tomorrow, when Mr. Petraeus testifies before Congress, that the truthful details will be revealed.
he deflected answering and instead threw DOD and State and CIA under the bus for the answer to that one. Notice how he didn't do that with Susan Rice, challenging others to fight him on her lies? Nope, he can't answer for himself or the 3 agency heads above that have the lives of hundreds of thousands of employees in their hands every day, not to mention the safety and security of our nation. Nope, easier to defend a black appointee who covers for him than opt to take on the tough task of leadership of these fine agencies.
I haven't heard that Petraeus is testifying tomorrow or not. From what I understand the hearing is not public tomorrow, either. Not yet, but the public ones are coming. Probably after the holidays, at the rate things get done in D.C.
What you got was another blatent display of amateurism & avoidance of responsibility--not surprising but still disgraceful.
"But for them to go after the UN ambassador, who had nothing to do with Benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received and to besmirch her reputation is outrageous."
Oh really??? She had nothing to do with Benghazi?? Then why did he send her out out to 4 plus talk shows to talk about Benghazi??? I mean, do you send your Secretary of Agriculture out to talk to the press about our energy policy?
After all, his words just before that statement were, "As I've said before, she made an appearance at the request of the White House....".
So which is it, Barry? Did she have nothing to do with Benghazi or did you send her out to make appearances at your request to tell us lies? He can't even keep his story straight in the same press conference!
The 18-29 year olds, the Minorities and certain Women just want their hand-outs. They could not care less about truth and honor.
AS long as they get what they think they deserve the President can stand up there and say he is in personal talks with Martians and they would want to know what they had to say and the Media would ask Big "O" what movies do they like best.
All those participation trophy's are finally paying off.
presidency, isn't there a movie about that somewhere?
You're on tgt---why not a rep from the State Dept? One of their employees said she was in direct contact with the Mission while the attack was ongoing--would seem to me that she would have been the choice--but the intent wasn't to inform with facts anyway--intent was to mislead and distort, avoiding responsibility wherever possible.
to talk to Congress Friday. Notice how Barry was trying to sound like he is so enamored of Petraeus today? Of course he is, he just fired him 5 days ago and now Petraeus gets his chance to tell us what he really feels about his newly former boss. Every newly fired employee should have this opportunity, shouldn't they?
However, it is coming out now that there is lots of classified material on Broadwell's computer. The question now is how did she get it? If she got any of it from Petraeus (above her security clearance), now Barry can go after Petraeus for giving her classified information. Petraeus still has to watch what he says that will/could contradict the Barry/Rice story on Friday.
Doesn't matter what level of clearance she had, no authority to have classified material at home or on her personal computer. As a former Army Intelligence Officer, she knows that, unless she completely ignored her briefings/debriefings. Having been INSIDE the Intel Community for 42 yrs, I know a lot about that stuff--even if my last debriefing said I was "degaused!"
that's good enough for me. Sounds like she ignored some other rules of engagement, too. Degaused? Sounds painful. Just one of many sacrifices you made for our country, I'm sure. McCain just said Petraeus is testifying behind closed doors on Friday.
Seems there is no end to keeping Hillary politically virginal in the Benghazi massacre. If anyone believes that Hillary had a concussion and is unable to testify this coming Thursday because of it, I have a not so lovely resort compound in Benghazi you can have for nothing.
This is the Obama Chicago filthy political machine at work. The only hitch was the Susan Rice anointment, I mean appointment. That screwed everything up when Barry realized she has a shady history on top of telling lies for him and could not be confirmed to take over for Hillary. So, he was stuck and so was Hillary.
So, does Barry recommend John Kerry for SOS? Couldn't do that, because that would leave his very important M-ASS-achusetts Democratic Senate seat empty. Who is waiting for that? None other than Scott Brown, the Republican who shocked the Dems in Ma. and won it when Teddy Kennedy died. So, to free up Hillary from SOS and to free up Kerry from his Senate seat, the governor of Ma., Deval Patrick, (Barry's best bud) has asked none other than Vicki Kennedy, Teddy's grieving and now filthy rich widow, to take over Kerry's seat, at least till the next election. Then, he hopes she will agree to run for the seat and beat Scott Brown who will run against her.
My take? Hillary got sick overseas a couple of weeks ago, actually was also sick of waiting for Obama to get someone to take over for her. She wanted to be home for the holidays. So, she comes home early from an overseas trip, starts getting her "story" together for the hearing this coming Thursday on Benghazi and realizes there isn't a chance that she can make it thru that hearing without lying or covering up.
If she were to get caught lying, then she could never run for prezbo in 4 years. So, she and Kerry and Barry concoct the "she fell at home ALONE and got a concussion, yet it wasn't diagnosed till DAYS after it supposedly happened and she was NEVER hospitalized or had any tests run. It's just a mild concussion now and she will just stay home this week instead. More likely? She got home last week, went to a few holiday parties with her lezbo buds and had a few too many brewskis (remember her swigging them in South America a few months ago?) and fell on her big fat %$#. So, watch Barry announce Kerry for SOS nominee in the next week or two, Hillary then steps down without EVER having to testify on Benghazi, Gov. Patrick will then announce Vicki Kennedy to take Kerry's seat and the coverup continues. Oh, and Barry now has the Ct. shootings to distract the public from the hearings and the fiscal cliff. Will Barry be in Hawaii for his 3 week beach fest? I think so! See below
Ambassador Stevens was to be traded for the Blind Sheik but he was accidentally killed, http://www.westernjournalism.com/benghazi-attack-was-botched-kidnapping-...
Now you have phase two underway in Algeria http://www.france24.com/en/20130118-liveblog-hostages-remain-algeria-bp-...
Wonder how long before we get to see the video that caused the latest kidnapping and murders by terrorists?
The question is, will America make the trade? GP
Wouldn't it be ironic if the weapons used to kill American citizens in Algeria were actually weapons we supplied to terrorists in Libya? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/algeria/9...
Americans should be outraged over the lack of any facts coming out concerning Benghazi!
Americans should be outraged of the lack of facts on who we are arming and why!
Wouldn't it be ironic if the same government that facilitated the sale of weapons to drug gangs (terrorists) in Mexico was responsible for the murders of American citizens and an untold number of Mexican citizens? (Caution Bloody Link) http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2012/10/01/here-are-5-things-you-didnt-k...
Wouldn't it be ironic if the same government that facilitated the sale of THOUSANDS of so-called assault weapons to Mexican drug gangs, proposed laws that would make Freedom loving Americans CRIMINALS if they used one of the same weapons to defend their family?
There are many words that have been used over the ages to describe governments such as those described above, the first on that comes to mind is Tyranny. GP
And what's truly sad is that regardless of who makes such a recommendation or who makes the decision, there are no people in the agencies who must execute with enough backbone to say "No, that's not right and I won't do it--I'll resign first and publicize precisely why I'm resigning!
What really hurts is the fact that the Constitutional checks and balances no longer exist.
In years past if the President or Congress committed or ignored Unconstitutional Acts at least we had the news media to bring out the truth, but now we have even lost the Fourth Estate.
It is truly a sad time for America. GP
