What if you like the incumbent? Do you really think Georgia, for instance, is going to vote out The two republican senators?
Do you think our area will vote out Westmoreland?
Will Atlanta vote out all of their incumbent black congressmen?

Ain't going to happen.
There's only one permanent solution and it will work with a two-party system instead of a 30 party system like Italy has.

One term limit for all will do the job. Three years for Representatives; five years for Senators; five years for President and Vice President.

As to health care, who would you want to "run" it? Who runs it now?
Health Care companies will still bid to do the administrative work---government will oversee them as they do many other things.

My opinion is this: THE SAYING, 'GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM,'is a cover or stalking horse for 'PROTECTING THE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES.'
Those who get enormous amounts from these companies, including congress, don't want to kill the golden egg producer.

It is very much like saying: let the military run the wars, when this has never happened-----ever... Unless our President were to ride a horse to battle as did Napoleon!

One term?

One term limit for all will do the job. One term, as the two term limit, gives unelected staff and lobbyists control. Health care? Government has NOT monitored this monstrosity - and that is the problem. Monitoring does not mean the same as 'running'. I agree with you about these arrogant companies, who in the light of becoming 'regulated' have raised premiums for all Americans who are fortunate to be able to afford insurance. LEADERSHIP AND GUTS ARE NEEDED NOW!!
