Don't forget Israel
I received this by email and got permission to post.
What a year 2012 has been! Today we have one Presidential Candidate debate out of the way, with several debates coming up, and a monumental election lurking just around the corner. This is a “once in a life-time” choice to make, as voting takes American’s future into two diverse paths. This is a critical decision all voters must cast on November 6th. Now more than ever Americans are trying to contemplate and digest each Presidential candidate’s platform and their solutions. How a stifling deficit is to become balanced. Health care restructure or reform. Which strategy resolves our unemployment and how to attract companies back to the U.S. Wildly enough, some voters do not get the true intent or meaning of the 47% statistic of Americans that do not pay taxes. Rightly so, there are many problems and critical issues that must be corrected here. However, Americans must not disparage the crisis in the Middle East.
Today we are seeing more terrorist attacks where sovereign soil is brutally invaded, and Americans are tortured and killed. The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, President Obama and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton immediately suggested that their information concerning recent attacks were instigated by an anti-Islamic 12 minute trailer. In a session with a reporter, Guantanamo released terrorist Mohammad Magarief, who is now head of the Libyan National Congress, stated “the attack was pre-planned and timed for the anniversary of the 2001 9/11 attacks.” That attack killed nearly 3,000 Americans. U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in Benghazi. Ambassador Stevens was missing for 8 hours, tortured, raped and executed. Egyptian protesters engaged in terrorist attacks ransacking and destroying the American flag while ranting "There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger".
Hundreds of Christians living in the Middle East have been killed. Until now there hasn’t been much coverage through the mainstream media. The political rise of radical Islamic parties, including the Muslim Brotherhood, has propelled 93,000 Christians to seek visas to Western countries.
Eradicating Christians has become more severe since President Obama’s 2009 Cairo speech. Christians are being ethnically cleansed throughout the Middle East. It’s the rise of these radical Islamic, Muslim Brotherhood invasions and killings that should be prominent on both party’s campaign trail. This is critical for our future here and abroad. Obama and Biden should be continually questioned as to the lack of concern in Foreign Policy and what’s being done about it. Our greatest ally continues to be ignored. Dismissing a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is just another slap in the face! During September’s U. N. General Assembly, “Obama told the U.N. session on Tuesday that there is still time to negotiate a peaceful end to the most troublesome elements of Iran’s nuclear program. But he has refused to set a deadline for Iran to back down or to publicly outline precisely what Iranian nuclear milestone would trigger a U.S. attack.”
The upcoming debates, we must ask and get answers from Obama as to where is our International Security and Foreign Policies in this administration. Furthermore, what was the purpose of delivering these words in Cairo to Muslims? Obama; “I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” Respect? Are you our elected President and Commander and Chief? Tell us more about how you, as Commander and Chief, will protect our greatest ally Israel and America.
Where is the mutual respect, common principles, justice, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings as Americans are tortured and executed? Why did Hilary Clinton and you ignore the outcry for more security?
Israel stands alone in the Middle East. Iranian nuclear bombs and threats continue today. With Obama’s continued dismissal of Israel’s requests, and amongst a volatile environment, this may very well be a life and death decision for Israel. Every voting American should realize that the Iranian threat towards Israel is very real. All voting Americans need to understand how the Middle East crises will shake-up our American way of life. Voters may just have the greatest responsibility in November’s election; which candidate will protect Israel? This is not the election year to be stuck on a political party or ideology!
The upcoming Presidential debates on Foreign Affairs must be listened to with all ears open.
