True, he was fawning for the media the night before. Yes Valerie Jarrett tried to stop the whole thing for political reasons - meaning if "it" failed, it would hurt "him" in the polls. What a bunch of phony patriots!
No Mom, Romney's policies are not the same as Bush's because Bush was only cleaning up after Clinton - blue dress and some missing keyboard keys. Romney has a whole bunch more stuff to clean up from Obama - Romney laid it out - actually you did and I agree 100%.
And no Moms, a CEO can play golf, go to dinners and attend functions, but that does not define who he is. What defines him is what he stands for and what he does when he is on duty. This President has never been "on duty" as he is always campaigning for reelection. I want him and Valerie out of the White House as soon as possible. They do not represent my country.

Its just that most regular people don't like your country the way it is now - teetering on the edge of collapse and financial ruin because of irresponsible spending and an ego-driven narcissist of a President who thinks dead Ambassadors and Navy Seals are bumps in the road and thinks he saved the car industry by force-feeding us the Chevy Volt. BTW, who is the largest buyer of Chevy Volts? Any guesses?
No Mom, your are correct - none of these guys has a perfect record, but your guy takes the cake for the most imperfect record. By far the worst President we have ever had, he will be voted out of office if the thinking and working people (and the 23 million unemployed who want to work) turn out in greater number than the welfare underclass. You do know that welfare underclass was created by Democrat programs beginning in the 1960's. Or, he will be reelected if that underclass is joined by the white-guilt liberals and the first-time unemployed voters who think the Occupy crowd was cool.
One way to define a politician is to look at the type of people that support that politician. I'd be embarrassed by the kind of support Obama has. Of course he is completely incapable of embarrassment.
Again, 16 years of Romney Ryan might fix the Bush/Obama/Frank/Dodd/McCain/Feingold mess.
Kind of similar to how the Nixon/Ford/Church/Carter mess was cleaned up by 16 years of Reagan/Bush Sr./Clinton (second term only)/Gingrich.
See, I actually realize these messes are created by people from both parties.

I carefully investigate their purposes and 'truthfulness'. They are being sued by Shirley Sherrod for their part in the 'lies' regarding her situation earlier. They would not have been in this situation if they had done a more thorough investigation. Hmmmmmmm. It's hard to decide just who you're going to trust these days. . . so many lies going around

Please don't patronize. I certainly don't think this election is just about 'race'. I came on this blog to discuss race relations - but I'm learning so much about the singlemindedness of SOME conservatives who live in this region. It has been quite an education. I find it very disconcerting to go along with Romney's plan - (which is still a bit fuzzy) which is the same plan that we had under Bush. Now I know you will show me where you think it is different - and I'm interested in hearing your reasoning. I'm also concerned about the advisors that are guiding the Romney campaign. Rove? Wow, he has a great record for guiding us to economic success. The latest distractions in the media and on this blog have been interesting. Obama was at a media dinner while Bin Laden's demise was being implemented. Do you really believe that any CEO who is attending a dinner or playing golf, or enjoying his family is ignoring his business or out of touch? That is just too naive for someone of your intellect. The country was on the brink of disaster under the Bush policies - and survived under Obama. I think the country is getting a grip - but we'll see after the October 3 debate. Look forward to your response.
