No it's not DM

It looks like nothing can save Romney now. His campaign is in a downward spiral because of his own words caught on video and found by my nephew. Here's Obama's new and most devastating ad to date:

My Job - Obama for America TV Ad

Romney is in a panic now, running new ads declaring how he's really for 100% of Americans. But when you are 5 weeks from the election, having to run ads reassuring half of America that the Republican candidate for President doesn't despise them is not where you want to be.

Jonathan Chait said it the best so far in New York Magazine: "And then, finally, there is a poetic justice in the substance of Romney’s self-immolation. This is not a random gaffe, a joke gone bad, or even a terrible brain freeze. It is Romney exposed for espousing a worldview that is at the heart of his party’s mania. The idea he summed up at that fund-raiser was a combination of right-wing fever dreams I’ve been analyzing since Obama took office — the Ayn Randism, the fact-free class warfare, the frantic rage at a changing America. The Republican Party is going down because its candidate was seen advocating exactly the beliefs that make the party so dangerous and repellant."

The Republicans are either going to have to take the Party back from the TEAs and extremist or fracture.

This election Jeff

And it's political strategies will be one for the textbooks. The early voting in Iowa is encouraging. Young Americans have not bought into the divide and conquer tact of the Republican Party. They have also noted the non-cooperation of the legislators and the absolute failure of the touted Teas to get anything done since 2010. While some Republicans may be changing tactics at this point, Democrats must stay alert for the October surprise. It's not over until November 6! The money from grass roots continues to pour in - for the ads are a coming!

Actually, I thought "If there were any Journalist left in America this Election would be a "Slam-Dunk" was kind of strange. If there were any journalists left? Right. Like FOX, run by the Chairman of the Republican Party, isn't the most watched and biggest media empire in the country The right has 24/7 control of the AM radio broadcasting and you're claiming what? If only the message could get out?

Romney's only chance is a wipeout in the debates or the unexpected October Surprise.

The Republicans are always trying to restrict voting and it always seems to end up that Hispanic and black neighborhoods get targeted for voter lists purges and such. The Dems will fight them in the courts. There's nothing about the facts to debate.

The GOP today is a sad, ugly shadow of the GOP of Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, and the Bushs.

As the truth evolves, more and more Americans are beginning to turn away from the hateful rhetoric. The discussion of economics, freedom, choice, responsibility is a great discussion for Americans to have. Our principles have been champions of sound economics, and the other for over 200 years. To throw in fear of 'difference' is un-American. This is not the GOP of the past. I hope that the voters understand that the spin of fear and hate is destroying the Republican Party of 2012.

And what is the Romney plan? If there is a sound plan on the table, the right doesn't have to go around with their cameras looking for such photo ops. It is not working!! But keep on trying. We'll know more after the 3rd.

You're going to hear a lot of this in the next few weeks. A Democrat left a surplus. What did the Republicans do with it? A Democrat saved us from the worst depression since the '30's - and we're still in trouble because of a Republican announcement that their prime concern during this time of crisis - since day one - was to make the sitting president a one term president. (And the Republican candidate doesn't care for 47% of Americans - out of his own mouth!) It will be interesting how the Republicans candidate overcomes this (after 10 years of war started under a Republican administration - and 8 years of a 'Bush' administration. (The Repubs didn't even have him at their convention!) This will be interesting how this is handled - and I'm sure debaters will learn a lot about overcoming 'hurdles' in a debate. Republicans are talking about good economic practices - balanced budget, etc. - but no specifics about the programs that will be necessarily cut; where revenue will come from; refusing to tax the wealthy, etc., etc., etc. Just sayin' This is a classic election year. . . one for the books!

..and you are going to hear a lot of this DM

...The Republicans gave that Democrat the surplus because they were in charge of Congress which SETS THE BUDGET..Dm.

The Democrats were in charge of Congress when the Republican President ran up the debt...

The Democrats were in charge of Congress and the Whitehouse when 6 Trillion more got added in just 3 years.

A Democrat wants to add 1 Trillion dollars of deficit spennding per year for the next 10 YEARS.

...and then you are going to hear this...

Obama says adding $4 trillion to debt is unpatriotic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kuTG19Cu_Q

Seems like Obama is more unpatriotic then most..

I highly doubt that whites would be applauded if they were carrying Romney signs while marching through Clayton county. They would killed and dragged through the streets by a rioting mob.

The corrupt Obama DOJ would then call it "justice" and then fail to prosecute.

Academic metal??

Another option would be to use the same stringent, yet measured decision making that Samuel L. Jackson used in 2008. As I recall, it was "I voted for Obama because he was black". Was that a statement on the academic metal of those "like him"?

If only people who were 'black' voted for him. After all, blacks are only some 12% of the citizenry. Academic metal does not rely on skin color.

Amazing how....

the person who continually assails other bloggers "reading comprehension" is the one who usually requires explanation or reinforcement of the message. I'll try to help you out once again. Let's review....

First off, who said Barry only won by getting the black vote?

GP stated that there are lots of people like him who would vote for ANYONE but Obama.

Your reply to him was "That really doesn't say much for the academic metal of those 'like you'. I would hope that MOST Americans will make a decision based on something other than 'vote for anyone before voting for OBAMA'."

My reply was what does that say about Samuel L Jackson and people "like him" who voted for Barry purely because of his skin color? What does that say about their academic metal? I always forget the rules are somehow different in DMville. It reflects badly on you, if you choose to vote for ANYONE but Obama. But it does not reflect badly on you, if you voted for Obama strictly based on skin color. In your world I guess....

Economic Patriotism?

My guess is "Economic Patriotism" as you put it is probably a progressive perversion of the language, in other words an idiom. Just as they use the subjective phrase "fair share".

My Patriotism is like Washington with a little Jefferson and Paul Revere.

I researched Obama's use of this term and it is just more of the same. More of his use of Patriotic terms to hide his devious schemes, like "fair share" BS. I would bet money this one came from Axlerod.

One part of Obama's so-called "Economic Patriotism" would be to deny a company the ability to deduct as business expenses money used to move business overseas. Create a hostile business environment and then punish anyone that tries to escape, yep, that's my idea of Economic Patriotism....I am guessing he ran this by GE's Imelt first and found he already had all his plants in China... Chavez to Obama: I'd vote for you, and you for me

"With both presidents facing tight re-election fights, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez gave a surprise endorsement to Barack Obama on Sunday - and said the U.S. leader no doubt felt the same.

"I hope this doesn't harm Obama, but if I was from the United States, I'd vote for Obama," the socialist Chavez said of a man he first reached out to in 2009 but to whom he has since generally been insulting."

Nah I would have never guess it.....
