Driving a golf cart on the paths is supposed to be enjoyable at a nice, leisurely pace, not hauling ass at 20+ mph and tearing around blind curves in the middle of the path! If you're in such a damn hurry to get somewhere, take your car!

Actually the path system is

Actually the path system is suppose to be an alternate means of moving about not necessarily for someone to driver slower then I can walk. While I dislike those driving at a high rate of speed just as much as you do, I hate even more people driving at 2 or 3 miles per hour because they are to lazy to 'walk' their dogs, I hate parents and grandparents using our path systen to teach their 3 year old how to drive, I hate when adults overload a golf cart with 9 or 10 people including an infant under one arm and their shoulder krinked to side because they are on a cell phone, & I hate joggers thinking that they own the path and refusing to move their fat ass over when I come behind them.

Too much hate, snowbunny

I have paint balls and nails waiting for you when you and your 13 year old kids tailgate me. Agree that 2 or 3 mph is too slow, also agree that 25 or 30 mph (and tailgating to get attention) is too fast. Dogs - especially old dogs get a complete pass. They are God's creatures.

Be aware, snow bunny. Some are out there with their defensive weapons. Water balloons with red or orange dye is a great defensive weapon against the silly little teenagers. They have to explain the stain - think about that one - Splain the stain! to Mommy and Daddy.

Not hard - Some inconsiderate

Not hard - Some inconsiderate jerk wanted to block the entire path with their cart and when I honked and tried to pass, they threw something at me. I probably would have questioned this answer at first but thanks to your reply, I now know there really are such horrific people on our path system.

If I am behind a jerk, I pick up my phone and call the police and inform them of what is happening. More times then not within 5 minutes the cart is on the side of the road being lectured or even cited. As for your defensive weapons, it can be easily be argued that your nails and paint balls was a deliberate attempt to cause an accident and harm. Are you willing to go to jail because you want to block the center of the road. Not for me, I'd prefer to move over and enjoy the path system.

We have places in our community which have been designed for dogs. I do not believe our city fathers intended for someone to 'walk' their dog in their golf cart. I'm guessing you do not own animals (let's hope you don't) as you do not realize some of those lazy dog owners are pretty much dragging their old dog along side the cart.
