Perhaps we, the Taxpayers, should buy Rangel another ticket to the Caribbean — one-way.

Rangel has now become a.........well, a very big liability for the Demos. Of course many of us have known that for a very long time. Say goodbye Charles. BTW, be a man and stop blaming your staff for all your problems.

Oh, and here is Nancy Pelosi take on it:

“It was not something that jeopardized our country in any way.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Washington is in such a big mess.

The country's mess

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Washington is in such a big mess.

Oh I think there are many other reasons that go back 10+ years. . . .in addition to the lack of ethics on the part of BOTH PARTIES! When the American people truly take back their government - and VOTE - then we can demand truth and ethics in government - a government that truly represents the people and not BIG BUSINESS/CORPORATIONS. Let's hope.

Here's another reasons why Washington is such a mess

So many crooks running our country -

Here's yet another one -

Stage set for Maxine Waters' ethics trial

Without detailing the accusations, the House Ethics Committee released an investigative report that found "substantial reason" to believe that Waters may have violated ethics rules. The case centers on a meeting Waters set up in September 2008, during the financial crisis, between Treasury Department officials and representatives of minority-owned banks.

And Joe lets not forget that Waters....

made a complete and utter fool of her self when she called for socializing the oil companies. What she really meant was to nationalize them but being a whacky liberal socializing was the first thing that came to her mind. Good bye Maxine.

Charles Rangel

Convicted of 11 of 13 counts of violating House ethics rules. Will the swamp be drained?

Rangel will get a slap on the wrist

His ignorance/stupidity/sloppiness claims in public seemed to have been believed enough to where the ethics crowd seems to feel there wasn't "criminal intent" to enrich himself. That's a defense that works much better in a political setting where your peers are shaky themselves than in a normal judiciary hearing.

I think they will end up censuring him and maybe getting him to agree to never be in any higher ranking positions in the future. His complete BS about "unfairness" and being "deprived of legal counsel" and drama queen display at his own hearing was so pathetic that reasonable people in society likely wish that Charles Rangel was booted out and never heard from again, but that isn't going to happen. Another pig who got humongously fat eating out of the trough of his district of sheeple.
