Sounds like the beginning of a really bad joke right? Well in a sense it is... a really bad joke.
GSA chief resigns following excessive spending claims:
"WASHINGTON - The head of the General Services Administration resigned from her post Monday, and two other officials were fired amid an investigation into excessive spending at a 2010 training conference that featured a clown, a comedian and mindreader, Federal News Radio reports.
Martha Johnson, the GSA administrator, submitted her resignation on Monday, citing a "significant mis-step" at the agency to the tune of more than $800,000. Robert Peck, the commissioner of the Public Buildings Service, and Stephen Leeds, Johnson's senior counselor, also resigned."

Whitehouse continues to blame Bush
The Whitehouse continues to blame former President Bush even though the overspending, partying and good times came out over 11 months ago.
So what happened? Why didn't the Administration expose it, fix it and make sure it won't happen again instead of ignoring it? Eleven months after it became known and nothing.
Let the Good Times Roll.....

The Whitehouse said today in reference to the GSA spending spree it was Bush's fault. The Whitehouse released a press statement on the scandal and said if Bush had of handled this when he was President it wouldn't be an issue today.
Shocking I know.
One thing I will say about President Clinton... He didn't spend 3 years blaming Bush senior for problems he encountered.. He just did his job.
