The "Art of Green” in Senoia April 17 featured an array of items designed for those interested in the handiwork of local artisans.

While Senoia is growing and embracing the new, some artists there are recycling the old. Historic Downtown Senoia celebrated Earth Day with a sidewalk art show featuring artists who work with recycled materials. The second annual “Art of Green” is an event sponsored by the Cultural Arts Committee of the Senoia Downtown Development Authority.

The event featured open-air booths selling artwork made of recycled plastic, metal, paper, cloth and other natural materials. Other vendors showcased plants, locally grown produce and other items.
