Jason Clark, president of Southeastern Reptile Rescue, gave a "show and tell" for members of the Rotary Club of Peachtree City during a recent luncheon. 

When only seven years old, Jason Clark found a snake while playing in the backyard.  His father assured him that it was a harmless garter snake, that's all young Jason needed to hear.

A while later, Jason ran inside the house to his mother excitedly displaying both his hands, bloodied from nine bites delivered by his beleaguered snake.

He was not afraid; he was filled with wonder and delight, having discovered his first love.

Now, as president of the Southeastern Reptile Rescue organization, Clark responds to calls throughout the state of Georgia for reptile sightings and needed rescues. His organization educates over 250,00 people every year, by offering his talented program for presentations to schools, scout groups, church groups and civic organizations.  The numbers are increasing each year for presentations as Clark is passionate about educating as many people as he can about the truths and myths of the reptiles he rescues. 

Being the premier reptile recovery and educational group for the state of Georgia, Clark's organization is now on its way to the national arena.  A call from the producers of "Animal Planet" landed Clark his own reptile series, which will begin airing in late March.
