Two men are being sought in the Sunday night robbery of the Rite-Aid pharmacy on South Glynn Street in Fayetteville.

Fayetteville Police spokesperson Steve Crawshaw said two black men entered the store at 9:46 p.m., grabbed the manager and demanded money. The men were described as 5’6”-5’8” and 5’4”-5’6” in height, said Crawshaw. The men wore dark blue or black pants and hoodies and wore ski masks, Crawshaw said.

Information on the location of the money and the amount taken was not available, Crawshaw said. Read More»

An investigation that began in October concerning two women who kidnapped and robbed an elderly north Fayette woman after claiming to be police officers has resulted in one arrest. In another case, an Ashburn man has been charged with aggravated child molestation.

Paula Aurelia Youngblood, 55, of Birmingham, Ala., has been charged with impersonating an officer, kidnapping and robbery, according to Fayette County Sheriffs Office spokesperson Brent Rowan. Read More»
