A Riverdale man was arrested Monday after he exposed himself and "performed a lewd act" to a female victim at the Fayette County Library in Fayetteville earlier in the day, Fayette County Sheriff's investigators said.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of several large air conditioning units stolen in the past few weeks from businesses along Ga. Highway 85 North.

Sheriff’s spokesperson Brent Rowan said several air conditioning units were stolen on Sept. 30, Oct. 13 and Oct. 26 from businesses on Carnegie Place and on Ellis Road. The Ellis Road thefts occurred at the same business.

A Newnan man has been charged with numerous counts of identity fraud and theft after Peachtree City Police and the Secret service staked out local automated teller machines (ATMs).
