‘Small Business Saturday’ set for Nov. 24

Thanksgiving is upon us, and that means the Christmas shopping season is ready to kick off. Everybody knows that “Black Friday” is the official first day of Christmas shopping that occurs the day after Thanksgiving, but how many people know about “Small Business Saturday?”

Small Business Saturday will take place Saturday, Nov. 24, the day after Black Friday. The day is designed to drive shoppers to local merchants on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.
