On Saturday, Apr. 24, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing will host “Keep ‘em Flying,” a 1940s-theme hangar dance, complete with big-band performances, swing dance demonstrations, period costumes and vintage aircraft.

The festivities will be held at the Historical Airpower Facility, Atlanta Regional Airport Falcon Field in Peachtree City and will begin at 6 p.m. with free swing dance lessons by Rachel Ferguson Dance Connection.

Spring has sprung! It’s time to enjoy some fun music under the stars at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater on Apr. 24. The Starr’s Mill High School bands have been working diligently all winter to prepare for an evening of fantastic entertainment. In past years, the “Night of Starrs” event has been held in smaller venues. Due to the growing popularity of the show, the event this year will be held directly under the stars at the amphitheater. Karen Duncan owner of Omega Books, Peachtree City, is once again selling the advance tickets to the Atlanta Symphony Decorators' Show House. The 40th annual Decorators' Show House and Gardens is open Apr. 17-May 9. Advance tickets are $20 and may be purchased through Friday, Apr. 16.
