Open Mic Night at 'The Fred' Saturday

Local entertainers go head to head competing for the coveted first place win in the Third Annual Open Mic Night at the Fred Amphitheater. Saturday, May 7 come out and cheer for your favorite artist as they face a live audience and panel of judges. Winners take home not only bragging rights but the opportunity to perform as an opening act for one of the concerts in the 2011 BMW of South Atlanta Summer Concert Series at the Fred. Monopoly tournament returns April 30

The third annual Peachtree City Monopoly tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at the Towne Club at 201 Crosstown Road. Players will be competing for $200 in cash prizes and over $250 in gift certificates from local restaurants and markets.  Raffles during the first round of play will see most of the gift certificates given away.

Fayetteville resident on 'Braxton Family Values'

Dr. Sherry Blake is excited to gear up for Season 1 of the “Braxton Family Values” starring Grammy Award Winning Singer Toni Braxton and her four sisters.

Dr. Sherry Lester Blake, a Fayette County resident, is a clinical psychologist in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Sherry (as referred to on the show) is the psychologist on the new reality series and will help these five Braxton women juggle life, love, family, and the industry.
