See 'Rango' at Fayetteville's Movie Under the Stars this Friday

This Friday, July 15, Xfinity along with Fayetteville Main Street is hosting a free “Movie Under the Stars” at the Villages Amphitheater. Beginning at 7 p.m., families are encouraged to come out for an evening of fun, music, and entertainment on the big screen.

Leading up to the movie, attendees can enjoy the free, family game zone and bubble area. Movie concessions (popcorn, snacks) will also be available for sale throughout the evening.

After sundown, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the featured movie, “Rango”, starring Johnny Depp, will begin. Read More»

The winners of last year’s Miss Pride of Fayette County Pageant show off their red, white and blue dresses as they participate in the annual July 4 parade in Peachtree City Monday morning. Dixieland to host Fourth of July Fireworks Display

Visitors to Dixieland Amusement Park this 4th of July will be treated to an eye popping display of video, lights, sound and fire as Dixieland hosts The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. It is slated to be one of the largest fireworks displays in the state at over 17 minutes long and a shell count into the thousands. Open Mic Winner Final Answer Band to open for the classic party band

One of the best-known party bands from the 1960s, the latest version of The Swingin’ Medallions will be in concert Saturday, July 2 at the Frederick Brown Jr. “The Fred” Amphitheater to kick off the Independence Day celebrations in Peachtree City.

The popular NITWITS are returning to the NCTC stage on June 18, Saturday evening at 8 p.m. NITWITS stands for Newnan Improv Troupe with Intelligent Talented Stooges. The actors play games that require them to improvise a story or skit on the spur of the moment.
