Local indie recording artists Legal Eyed Drive will be holding a CD release party for their self-titled debut album at 8 p.m. tomorrow (March 19) at The Alamo in Newnan, Ga.

The band has been playing a limited schedule of selected venues to prepare for the recording of their first release. They have frequently played at local establishments in and around the Atlanta area. The starting time for Saturday’s Handbell Festival Concert at Peachtree City United Methodist Church has been changed to 3:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than the originally published time of 4 p.m.

This special concert features 14 handbell choirs from United Methodist churches throughout the state of Georgia, all performing together under the direction of Arnold Sherman, composer, arranger and director. Read More»

This year, the Villages Amphitheater enters the modern age with a new, web-based ticketing system to assist with and enhance box office sales.

Officially launched on February 24, the new system allows users to view and purchase any available seats for the 2010 Summer Concert Series directly from the villagesamphitheater.com website.
