Southern Ground Amphitheater’s summer concert series may be over but the venue will be rocking next Tuesday night with the Any1Can: We Want Peace benefit concert and art show. The concert will benefit “Raising South Sudan,” sponsored by Mothering Across Continents, a non-profit project that supports school building and education in the world’s newest country South Sudan. New TV show sounds casting call for bachelors

Are there any bachelors in the Fayette and Coweta areas looking for a little exposure? If so, a new television show by production company Endemol USA might be right up your alley. The company has announced a casting call for “the perfect eligible bachelor from the perfect small town.”

Starr’s Mill grad Fletcher and friend from Auburn competing on ‘The Amazing Race’

The latest season of CBS’ hit show “The Amazing Race” started Sunday night and Starr’s Mill graduate Brittany Fletcher is a contestant alongside her best friend and fellow Auburn University alum Caitlin King.

Fletcher stated that she has always wanted to be a part of this show.

“It was one of the things on my bucket list,” Fletcher said. “This and being on ‘The Price is Right.’” Fletcher was on “The Price is Right” in 2005 and won the Showcase Showdown.
