Fayette County Commissioner Steve Brown wants to remove Marilyn Watts as the Republican Party-appointed representative to the Fayette County Board of Elections.

Details of the complaint were kept mum at a Tuesday meeting of the Fayette County Republican Party’s executive committee. Copeland to seek District 63 House post

Fayetteville native and Fulton County school teacher T.J. Copeland has thrown his hat in the ring as a Democratic candidate to fill the new District 63 seat in the Georgia House of Representatives. The district includes portions of Fayette, Clayton and south Fulton counties.
