A garden by the Heritage Christian Church for the Fayette Samaritans was the vision of a church member, Rhonda Pennypacker. She did all of the organizing, made it happen and is also the garden manager.
Members of the church and local volunteers provided money and their time to plant, maintain, and harvest. Everything that is grown is donated to the Samaritans. The church also provides water for the project.
This summer, over 120 to 150 pounds of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and okra were harvested for the benefit of this 21 year old food and clothing charity. Read More»
