‘Freedom’ and ‘fun’ headline coming events at COS

“Moses and the Freedom Fanatics” is the spring musical to be presented at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 2, at 6 p.m., by Shepherd’s Flock Singers. These young musicians are in Grades 2-5, and they will also play handbells and choir chimes. Cherub Choir will sing and play the church’s Brody bells.

OM plans ‘Creative Arts Evening of Worship’ April 30

Dancelink and OM Arts International, ministries of Operation Mobilization (OM), will host a Creative Arts Evening of Worship Friday, April 30. The concert will be at Peachtree City Christian Church and begins at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free; however, an offering will be received to benefit Dancelink’s ongoing mission work.

FFBC, PTCUMC both will offer Griefshare in May

Fayetteville First Baptist Church and Peachtree City United Methodist will both begin a new session of GriefShare, a 13-week Bible based program for those who have lost a loved one.

The class at FFBC starts May 4 and meets each Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Each class begins with a video followed by group discussion. There is no charge for the class.

The program is open to people of all ages in the community and surrounding areas, whether the loss is recent or in the past. Read More»

Square Foot Ministry (SFM), the local non-profit organization, is seeking donations for its annual yard sale, coming up the weekend of May 14-15.
