The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Debbie Clanton of Fayetteville. A graduate of Fayette Christian School in Fayetteville, Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Ga. and Florida State University, she is currently a music therapist for Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee. Read More»

Cosby Birth Announcement

Doug Cosby and Jamie Boykin of Fayetteville announce the birth of their twin daughters on Monday, July 5, 2010, at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale. Lily Danielle Cosby was born at 11:12 p.m. and weighed 5 lbs., 9 oz., and Kylie Isabella Cosby was born at 11:13 p.m. and weighed 4 lbs., 13 oz. Grandparents are Ken and Melissa Cosby and Jim and Maggie Boykin.

David and Nicole Lamb of Senoia announce the birth of their daughter, Molly Catherine Lamb, at 8:16 a.m. on July 14, 2010, at Fayette Piedmont Hospital in Fayetteville. Molly weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. Grandparents are Wendell and Gail Lamb of Senoia and JoEllen Goodman and the late Gary Goodman of Carthage, N.Y. Molly was welcomed home by sisters Emma and Whitney.

Notables July 21, 2010

• Amit D Salkar and Erin Paige Ricker of Peachtree City, Ga., and Lauren W. Myer of Fayetteville earned the Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University’s School of Medicine during the School’s commencement on May 8 on the University’s Macon campus. Mercer President William D. Underwood conferred the degree.

In all, the University held 10 ceremonies in May in Macon and Atlanta and conferred approximately 1,600 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. Read More»
