John Stephen McCook and Dawn Cramer Dickerson were married April 9, 2010, at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg. Bishop David Epps, Canon Dan Hale and Deacon Bill Shelton officiated.

The bride owns a cleaning company and is self-employed. The groom is a sergeant with the Peachtree City Police Department.

Mr. DeLaney was the owner/operator of a “Sir Speedy” Print Shop in Atlanta for over 10 years. He was most recently employed with Home Depot in Peachtree City. Jo Anne Holt of Peachtree City died April 25, 2010.

Jo was born in Richfield, Kansas October 15, 1942, the third of four children of Ray and Frances Boekhaus.

She attended Southwestern College in Winfield, KS where she majored in music. When she was 13, Jo began playing the piano for her church, a ministry which she continued for 50 years. Read More»

Laura Gladys Scott, 90, of Fayetteville, died April 23, 2010.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband Lester Scott Sr. and a sister Wynnelle Bray.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Lester and Gail Scott; grandsons and fiancées Chase and Danielle and Kevin and Heather.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 26, 2010 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Fayetteville Chapel with Rev. Ken Helms officiating.
