The Summit offers Camp Re-Mix for special kids

The Factor Grandparent Raising Grandchildren (GRG) committee at The Summit Church has brought key stakeholders together to provide a grief camp for children being raised in grandparent/relative care homes.

Camp Re-Mix, offered July 16-18, is a three-day, two-night weekend camp for children 7-14 years of age who are living in relative care placement. The Camp experience will include regular camp activities, swimming, hiking, and campfires. Therapeutic activities include, art, skits, and small group discussion. Read More»

David and Joy Lamb of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ansleigh Elizabeth Lamb, to Bradley Christopher Baxter, son of Bob and Linda Baxter of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the Rev. Bill and Joan Priester of Fayetteville and Richard and Bobbie Lamb of Panama City Beach, Fla. She is a 2005 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia College & State University with a degree in early childhood education.
