Rachel Nicole Kalins engaged to Joshua Kyle DeMuth

Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey C. Kalins of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Nicole Kalins, to Joshua Kyle DeMuth, son of Mr. and Mrs. John DeMuth of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Gumble of Pennsylvania and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kalins of Florida. Haleigh Amanda Gaddis engaged to Christopher Gary Linn

Mr. and Mrs. Randall C. Gaddis of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Haleigh Amanda Gaddis, to Christopher Gary Linn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Linn of Dalton.

Learning good manners and performing community service were both on the menu Saturday, Feb. 12 for several Spring Hill Elementary students.  The young women participated in a protocol and etiquette workshop for 4th and 5th grade girls.  The workshop was titled “Manners Matter!”  The workshop was conducted at the Fayetteville home of the Fayette Youth Protection Homes (FYPH), which received the proceeds from the event.  Read More»

Carole Edith Lyman King, age 67, of Peachtree City, GA passed away on February 5, 2011.

She was born in Lake Charles, LA on March 13, 1943 to Arthur Richard Lyman, Jr. and Virginia Pierce Brown Lyman. Carole was a graduate of Florida State University, a teacher with the Department of Defense and a long-time substitute for Fayette County and Blockbuster.
